Best in its class!

This is the single best trial demonstration product I’ve used. It has attractive and logical graphics, demonstrates a clear and clean timeline of events and then populates those events with aQuick and easy tap on the screen, instantly projecting the documents that demonstrate the event. It couldn’t be simpler, and it’s hard to imagine one that’s better, at least not yet. This is an excellent work in progress and over the months that I’ve been working with timeline presenter, I’ve seen updates that show that this is just the beginning! Keep up the great work on this extremely useful product

No Explanation of what the “Standard” subscription is…

I appreciate you put work into building this and it is not to be “given” away. However, $399 is a lot of money, when say Microsoft Office and EVERYTHING it includes can be had for an entire family for $99.

I was about to cancel my subscription when I saw you have the new “Standard Subscription” vs “business” subscription. I cannot find where the difference is described. Even on your website. Since I cannot find a description, I am going to cancel until I know what I am getting.

I have found some developer comments that states the standard has basic features. Well what are those features vs the business features.

I would think it would behoove you to do two things:
1) Compare your price to other subscriptions. Lots of firms have put in the same amount of time in effort for their product as you have, and have more reasonable prices. Perhaps it is a scale deal (MS Corp is huge, so can afford to charge less), but it seems you could be missing a huge market segment opportunity (Education for instance) by your pricing.
2) Please provide a chart with the difference between Standard and Business.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for the feedback! We apologise for the confusion!
The details about what each of the subscriptions includes is shown in the app when you first subscribe, but it's not shown when you already have an active subscription.

The standard version includes the same features as business, except PDF editing and annotation, full text search, and filter presets. The business subscription is now $299 per year (down from $399), and standard is $99 per year. If you don't see the reduced price when renewing, please cancel your subscription and resubscribe.

Timeline Presenter was originally created as a trial presentation app for lawyers, and we priced it similarly to other trial presentation apps. After feedback from customers we introduced the standard subscription at the lower price.
Timeline Presenter is a niche product, and we can't compete on price with mass market products like Microsoft Office.

Amazing app for trial prep and presentation

I used the app in a Queens County malpractice case in New York City that I recently assisted on and it was amazing to be able to show the jury a fully embedded visual timeline of the events of the case which was instrumental in their deliberations. In fact, during deliberations the jury requested the timeline and came back with a very favorable verdict!
