UNMS™ Mobile is a convenient client application for installing Ubiquiti Networks® airMAX®, airCube™, EdgePoint®, and EdgeRouter™ devices from your smartphone or tablet – it’s easy and quick. UNMS Mobile adds these devices to UNMS (Ubiquiti® Network Management System) for centralized control of Ubiquiti devices across multiple sites worldwide. UNMS offers mass configuration changes, monitoring, firmware upgrades, and config backups via an intuitive graphical interface. Learn more or try out the demo at:

UNMS Mobile can also be used *in standalone mode without UNMS servers* for device discovery on the local network, site survey, airMAX® device installation using the U-Installer or airGateway® Pro Installer, provisioning with configuration templates, antenna alignment, configuration backup and sharing, and offline firmware upgrades.

The UNMS Mobile app communicates with devices over HTTP(S), so the UNMS Mobile app requires access to the devices on these ports.

Minimum Firmware Requirements:
- UNMS server: version 0.11.0 or higher
- airMAX AC devices: version 7.2.0 or higher
- airMAX M devices: version 5.6.5 or higher
- airGateway: version 1.1.7 or higher
- airCube: version 1.0 or higher
- edgeMAX devices: version 1.9.0 or higher
- edgePoint devices: version 1.9.0 or higher

Works well

I don't have much going on in my home network. 1 edgerouter x-sfp, and Unifi AP AC and then several wired and wireless clients. This app allows me to change some basic settings in the router. Obviously you can't change anything with the Unifi AP in this app (that would be in the Unifi app.) However, my only issue is doing firmware upgrades on the router within the app. The request always times out and the upgrade fails.

2 buggy 2 use

Tried to configure pair of NanoStation Loco M5s as P2P bridge with no luck. Easily allowed me to update to the latest firmware which was impressive but entering new administrative name and password during set up, reverts to ubnt upon saving then cannot log back in, says Invalid Credentials. Oddly the web interface works better with my iPad though I still can't save an administer name, at least I remain logged in. Even looks as if my two NanoStations and airGateway are all set up correctly now too although I have not as yet been able to connect to the Internet through them, D'oh!

Sorry to hear that! This issue has been fixed.

Needs attention to app security

This app saves your logins without notifying you. It also offers NO means to lock access to the app via PIN or fingerprint like other Ubiquiti iOS apps. It would give this admin peace of mind being able to use the strong security features iOS provides to secure sensitive network configuration credentials.

Other than the above, the app seems very nice. I admittedly have a very small network which I manage, so I cannot speak to its efficacy for maintaining larger infrastructure.

Developer Response ,

Current app version already features Touch ID for better security. Please let us know if something work other way than expected, security is our priority.
