No need to pull up different travel apps and websites to organize plans and see them on a map - you can do it all in the Wanderlog trip planner app! Plus, if you’re visiting points in order, lines will connect the different pins on the map so you can see your route (perfect for road trips!). You can also export all your places to Google Maps too.
STORE PLANS OFFLINE
All your plans are automatically stored offline on the Wanderlog travel planner app - especially helpful during a roadtrip with poor signal and international travel.

See your route on a map, or try our route optimizer to automatically rearrange and plan your route to save travel time. See estimated times & distance traveled between places to make sure it all fits, and total time and distance traveled for a given day to make sure you’re not driving too long. Plus, you can add unlimited stops along your road trip for free.
PLAN WITH FRIENDS

Access flights, hotels, and attractions in one app. Forward flight and hotel confirmation emails to import them directly into your trip plan, or connect your Gmail to automatically add them. Prefer to keep high-level plans? Make generic lists like ‘Things to do’ and ‘Restaurants’ you want to eat at. Traveling on a tight schedule and want to create a detailed itinerary? Organize your day by adding start (and end) times, perfect for keeping track of tickets and reservations.

My favorite Trip planner
I am going to New York City for the weekend next month and I wanted to pre plan my trip. It’s a big city with a lot to see so I wanted make sure I had time to see everything throughout my short stay.
At first I started by pinning everything on google maps but that wasn’t enough for me because i wanted to plan everything day by day and the order I wanted to see everything in. I came up with the idea of searching up in the app store “trip planner” and Wanderlog was one of the apps. I went through every single app and none of them attracted me like this app. I decided to give it a try and to my surprise I loved it because I could see what I was going to do each day and the order it was in. A huge plus was how it connects each location so it’s easy to understand.
I an avid traveler, but it often causes me a lot of stress (I am very organized/routine oriented and of course traveling is the opposite of that). In order to get a better hold over this issue, I downloaded six travel/itinerary apps from here. I played around with all of them, but I settled on this app because the layout is extremely pleasing, it organizes email confirmations etc from hotels and flights as well as allowing you to manually add activities, it is very intuitive as far as how to edit within the app (for the most part), and it is easy to share with my husband so he know what we are doing.
I highly recommend for anyone really looking to have more control and ease with trip/itinerary planning.
Intuitive and just what I need to plan a multi-day trip
I’ve been searching for an app like this for a few years now. There are a number of apps that attempt this but nothing that integrates so well with Google Maps for importing places and exporting your plans. And the UI is very intuitive. The ability to add custom notes everywhere is very helpful, and to create lists of places before organizing them on the itinerary itself - genius. I ran into a bug with trying to import my flight info, but that’s not crucial to mapping out my trip. The developers emailed me after downloading to ask for feedback and have been extremely responsive and care about improving the app. Bravo!
