TymeBank 4+

I literally updated this app yesterday. Tell me why it’s asking me to update again today? It also keeps crashing everytime I want to send an EFT, is that the reason for the mew update? Instead of gaveling 12 small updates on the app every month, why don’t you bundle all your new updates and have one update a month or every other month? Also, some communication would be great! You have our contact details, send an email or sms and explain these inconveniences.

It would really be great if one didn’t have to withdraw a whole goal save amount when you only need a portion of it, it’s not innovative! Also, I don’t like that goal save/ fixed savings are the first thing one sees when they open the app! Imagine if your phone was stolen and they somehow managed to log into the app they will be greeted by a screen that shows all your saved money!! Please only show the current account and leave the savings in other tabs or something. Also! fixed accounts withdrawn before maturity must have a forced minimum notice! Not an immediate withdrawal, I’m always in fear that if my phone was to be stolen n they managed to access my account then my hard earned money can be taken instantly! Atleast if there’s a notice of 24 hours for eg, I would have enough time to stop that notice and also request to delink the device. I moved my money from my nedbank to save at TymeBank but realized there’s loop holes with TymeBank and it was rather safer with Nedbank for that reason that no matter who can access my banking app, to have my money from my fixed accounts will not be possible if it hasn’t reached maturity as it requires a f2f with bank consultants to have it withdrawn!

Even though I have saved beneficiaries, unlike the internet based banking site, i must always key in own and beneficiary reference every time i want to make a payment . The app does not allow to save email nor sms notification details of beneficiaries to receive proof of payment etc whereas the internet banking site does The default EFT should not be immediate EFT as this carries a cost, it should be normal EFT with clients choosing the immediate payment option The icons on the app especially apple, are so huge, it does not fit into the screen Move that goal save/ moretyme block on the opening screen, it is so in the face. Have this as a small tab Have the payment/ purchase tab featured on the opening screen so that we are ready to transact. Fix all of these and you will have a winner
