Throughout my experience with various insurance companies, I have been a dedicated AAA member for many years. However, I must say that Progressive stands out as a true leader in the industry. One of the most impressive aspects of Progressive is their exceptional customer service. Whenever I've needed assistance, I’ve found that my calls are answered promptly, eliminating any frustrating hold times. Moreover, the representatives speak clearly and are easily understandable, making the experience pleasant and efficient.What truly sets Progressive apart for me is their user-friendly mobile app. The interface is intuitive, allowing me to navigate effortlessly through my options. I appreciate the ability to customize my insurance policy to fit my specific needs—whether it’s adding or removing coverage. I feel that two step verification is a pain and is outdated. Both your email and phone number can be leaked and compromised. The app doesn't even give you the option to opt out or to change methods without calling them speaking to one person then being change to another person. Who going to steal your car insurance??? I feel like it a pain for those who have a hard time with keeping their phones in service. But in order to change the method you got to call progressive doesn't give you the option in app or on the website. If you can afford your internet. You can't access your email without having internet or WiFi. Please find a way to make it more then just email or cell phone as both method can be hacked. Offer the ability to opt out. Because it a nuisance to have to verify on the same device everytime I login to the app. Even with password and Face ID I still need to verify. I haven't upgraded the phone in about 10 yrs. Yet daily I am needing to verify my identity. Why not work out the kinks before putting the two step verification out. This is healthcare or your credit card. It car insurance. The app is great but having to two step verification every single time I open the app is a pain please do something about it. Really need to have an option for trusted devices. Makes having snapshot a pain.

The “Snapshot” application of this service is frustrating. You get flagged for phone usage while driving if you merely looked at your phone within a minute or two of driving. So, that quick text to your spouse to tell them you are on your way BEFORE you start driving gets counted against you. I live in an area where I can drive to work and not have a single stop light. I see more deer and wild turkeys than other cars. According to “Snapshot” if I happen to break a little harder to miss a turkey that just ran in front of my car, I now must be tailgating someone and get flagged on my driving record. So perhaps I should just hit the darn turkey? Now there is an email notification that I must check my “Snapshot” app to ensure the service is still on (never turned it off) or they’ll remove the service and charge more. A few weeks ago the app stopped showing me my trips so I can make appropriate adjustments of being a passenger, etc. I figured this must have been a period of active tracking and then it stops for a while. Now the app won’t even open and it seems I’ll need to go through the trouble of uninstalling it and reinstalling and setting it up again just so I can continue the frustration of an app with limited option for real-world situations. I’m not enjoying this experience. Perhaps another insurance provider is in my future.

Advice and warning of the ways they purposely over charge hoping you won’t figure it out or will give up. This is not advice on how to get better insurance rates it’s a bout sone omitted ways they have taken money from me and now wasting so much time to get my money back that never should have been charged to me. Watch your premium, things that effect your premium like miles you drive in a year, (watch to make sure they don’t change them to to collect more money from you. Also, that discount amounts are not decreased or taken away snd be sure to keep note of all the information you give them in your first call when being quoted. Sign up for paperless to tv get discount but print and date every document sent to you and look over the $ amounts. Also, record all phone conversations and make sure the Progressive rep knows you are recording them. You want legal evidence when you need to prove their reps boldly lied, hung up on you, try to talk around your question as if they are trying to lure you away from your inquire (because they are) and they don’t disclose all information over the phone (nor in their printed documents and they are not consistent as if to makes you give up on trying to show how they are over charging you so you will need the recordings. This review should be written with bullet points . It’s more of a how to help yourself when Progressive is purposefully over charging you. I hope help someone it’s late and my writing is not to good.
