Good job

The new update is way better than the last one, but still it needs some work on it, for example it is not showing my finances after the new update i don't know why, also if you add a simple way to transfer money to other banks like providing the iban and the name it will be very helpful, and i wish you could provide in app customer service rather than calling, waiting, entering account number bla bla bla just to fix some error in the app.

Racist bank

So today I walked into Abu Dhabi mall breach to open a savings account, after a staff attended to me and told me what were the requirements to open a savings account, he told me to wait for some minutes to be attended to by his Colleague because he was not Authorized to open account, after waiting for almost an hour, finally his colleague attended to me and told me I needed a salary certificate directed to Emirate islamic bank, I told him I spoke to your colleague and he said I only needed my Emirate I’d and passport and a maintenance of 3000aed to open an account, then he said okay let me just ask my manager, his manager said yes they could open the account with that requirement, then the manager went on to ask what my nationality was, I told him I was ( nigeria ) and he went on to say they don’t open account for Nigerians, when I asked him what the reason was, he couldn’t give me an answer, all he had to say was it was bank policy. I told him ok since its bank policy, they must have a reason, so what is the reason ???? Still no answer! I don’t know how a bank who are looking for customers can have such hideous policies!!! 🤨

Worse bank

I had submitted application for credit card in last month. An agent got connected through call and said it would take 5 to 7 days to complete process.

Everytime i need an update, i need to call back to him. Before eid he promised that all process is completed and you will get card before eid.
After so many days, when i asked him for update, he arranged a call from someone. That someone said your application is in process so we need to conduct an on-site verification. Which means the other agent was keep lying.
He has no idea about customer service, working in banking and attitude is like a grocery storekeeper.

Then after another week, after even receiving sms and emails about card, i got another call that my is ready just your bank need updated visa and emirates id.

Then after another week when i called, agent said bank delaying.

Then this week i received a call, a gentleman said my card was printed with wrong spelling. Seriously? So we need to reprint it

Finally, I am disappointed with Emirates Islamic Bank, its worse experience i had with any bank in UAE. Seriously your bank is not even at a service level to call yourself a bank. A grocery shop in street better work than you.
