Being single and traveling a lot for work, all around the world - I have used quite a number of delivery services and apps. I must say Bolt Food in Malta is probably the best one so far. I had a good experience with some apps in California - but in smaller cites, like here in Malta - nothing I’ve tried comes even close! In fact this applies to the whole Bolt app selection here, the scooters and taxi as well. Just a joy to use. Highly and unreservedly recommend.*edit - I didn’t remember having left a review. Terrible support chat after the broken order

The courier refused to give the order, being right next to the front - taking advantage of the fact that he could not reach the phone before and he was allowed to dispose of the order, despite the fact that it happened in front of my eyes and I called the courier when the order had not yet been cancelled, he simply decided to eat it and the customer support absolutely did not want to listen and understand and put all the blame on me, believing that the money had already been lost and not wanting to return it, and in fact they had to simply have to contact the courier and told to give the order, instead they did not listen to me at all and simply gave a template answer and then tried to chat, the following requests immediately received an instant response that another administrator had already answered and that they could not help

Stolen food and terrible customer service

I contacted Bolt Food multiple times to let them know there was something wrong with my order and they blew me off. Finally, I am contacted by the third courier to tell me that the restaurant has no order for me. I kept contacting customer service and they literally did not respond until later after it’s confirmed my food has been stolen and almost two hours in. It takes them so long to cancel my order to refund my money and they sign off with “have a great night!” Are you kidding me? No, you ruined my night because we have no dinner and you kept assuring me it was on its way and now we are hungry and without food or any resolution from the restaurant or Bolt Food so no, we are not gonna have a great night! I tried to use Bolt Food but never again!!!! Not worth it… issues can happen but it’s their customer service that turned me off forever.

Poor Payment Service!

I’ve had this payment issue for over a month now, and I am not sure if "fraud" is the right word to describe it. I made a card payment, which was debited from my account and cleared on the app, but it later came back as negative. Despite escalating the issue to the customer service team, all they keep telling me is to use my card again and they will debit it and credit me. This doesn't make any sense to me because I have already made the payment and I shouldn't have to pay double for something I have already paid for. I provided evidence of payment, but the situation remains unresolved. To make matters worse, I am now unable to access the app, and I can still see a negative balance on the ride app. This is unacceptable and needs to be fixed immediately.Your payment service is poor! Fix it!This isn’t the first time I’ve seen this happen.
