After the USFS burned my off-grid wilderness homestead of 22 years to ash in the prescribed burn which escaped their bungled control to become the wildfire know as the Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon Fire, and being yanked around by FEMA ever since as they reluctantly compensate victims for their losses to that wholly preventable catastrophe, Gemini AI has served superbly in multifaceted manner as my recovery advocate by assisting with researching everything related to the fire (how it started, revealing responsible party incompetence and negligence, approaches for enduring and overcoming FEMA-HPCCF claims office bureaucratic landmines and pitfalls, etc.), as well as steps forward finding and acquiring new homestead property, designing and building it out it to suit my needs for at least the next three decades. It is also helping me prepare for eventually willing this new food-forest homestead to a family organization (the OU Biological Research Station), and possibly willing the ruined but opportunity-rich homestead parcel burned to ash by the USFS for collecting long term post-wildfire recovery data, to that organization as well. For these key reasons, Gemini has helped be gain advantage to recover well from this unexpected situation without being judgmental, without maddeningly second guessing my decisions, and with only minimal hallucinations which have been easily detected and rectified. For this I am grateful.

The reason I gave four stars out of five is because it cannot generate pictures very well and sometimes if you do get anything that’s generated from it. It has misspelled words or letters that are halfway there like it doesn’t know the alphabet. Also, I can’t listen for certain noise even if you explain to it what it is and generate actual answers on what those sounds might be like if you have a ticking noise coming from a vehicle, it won’t hear that. Certain little kinks like that is why I gave it four stars instead of five if they could update that and incorporate away for it to understand and search for things like that, it would be a five star app without a doubt. I am being highly critical though, so other users might think that it’s a five star app. But just as of my critical opinion, that would be what was needed for me to say it’s a five star app. But for other things, it is super useful. For theoretical concepts and understanding, it goes far beyond anything else or any other kind of service I could think of. Like I think even the app itself knows of its own flaws and it’s kind of weird that it would know something like that. And if you was to compare it to something like Siri, I would rate it 100 stars compared to series 5 or five stars compared to series one whichever way you wanna go about it. Either way it is much more useful. I just think it could be better.

Hi: Blake Burns’ the name, story-making’s my game! I love creating stories about all my favorite characters, and Gemini has boosted my creativity beyond its limits; even though I have autism. But, there are a few actions that I can’t help but feel they’re being stubborn. These are the picture implementer and the description. See, picture the scene: I’m in my bedroom with my cat, and we’re ready to craft a story about Miraculous characters. But, sometimes, when I hit the + button to add a picture, it doesn’t pop up the menu! Very annoying; I had to reset and restart my phone many times before I could get one. As for the descriptions, it’s only drawback is real-life images. See; a wuarter of a year back, I was really wanting to create stories about Power Ranger girls, but when I tried to implement a picture of their civilina clothes so Gemini can describe them (Yes; most Power Rangers sites don’t have descrptions of their casual appearances [and Rager appearances for that matter]), it always says; “Sorry, but that’s out of my ability.” What is it with real-life girls that she hates?! So, could you please someday fix these functions? I need them badly; I got a whole bunch of ideas in my head just waiting to erupt!

I recreationally use Gemini for its image generation as I have found it to generally create accurate and well-made images based on my descriptions. It does a good job of incorporating any of my stated details into the image, and the fact that it is free is a major plus. There is a limit on how many images you can generate which is unfortunate, but I’m still able to create dozens of images per day. If they had a subscription option to enable unlimited images for a reasonable price, I would gladly pay for it.The AI chat feature is impressive too, but I find that ChatGPT is slightly more comprehensive in that regard. It’s still serviceable though and I hear it can be used in conjunction with certain other Google Apps, which is an interesting feature. Overall, I am pleased with Google’s foray into the AI space and I see a lot of potential for this program. In the time I’ve used it, the image generation has improved, so I can only imagine the further improvements they will make in the years to come. I implore you to embrace the future and to appreciate the positive impact that can be made through the responsible use of AI.
