This app boasts a lot of features, but it’s not quite as straightforward as they make it out to be for many of the features. They don’t clearly say that other apps are required for stuff like edit in place, or how limited it still is by how iOS restricts the local file system in general. Honestly that’s the real issue. iOS is actively working against apps like this with the filesystem restrictions.Still, compared to other options, this has been much nicer once you do sort out the ways to get around the quirks and read through the FAQs for how to set up features. The nicest part by far is being able to connect to cloud storage with Face ID authentication and use REAL copy, paste, and move to/from exact on device locations. Instead of having duplicate or triplicates of files from the native iOS inter-app permissions fiasco, you can just use a few dedicated folders that frequently used apps always have access to to eliminate the confusion of downloads not showing in photos, or your video editor not seeing supposedly cloud downloaded video files. So despite the iOS confusion and the app not being quite as simple or feature rich out of the box, it does make coping with the filesystem easier. Especially when you need to move files from different sources frequently. But it would be nice to have better integrated photo editing, a text editor that can do even basic text formatting, and integrated document editing.
