I can no longer see when my credit card due date is. I got to the minimum payment amount screen but I’m not sure I could get back there without searching around again. On the old app I was able to see my accounts and my husband’s checking and loan account. Now I can’t have his account info on my app. Which means we will get late payments on the loan because my husband does not do banking and I have to make a point to get in his phone to log in and make the payment for him. This whole app is a real PITA. If this doesn’t improve we will be closing our accounts after our loans are paid off. I only bank online and mainly on my phone. This app is not convenient at all.

I am a former IT Software Engineer and this recent “update” has several drawbacks. I have access to 2 accounts. Previously all I needed to do was select which account login ID I wanted to use and face recognition opened that account. That was fast & nice. Now I have to type the login id and password every time I want to login to an account - yes I have set the switch for using face ID but it keeps shutting off. Logging out takes too many steps. Previously a swipe right from the accounts screen brought up the button to sign off. Now finding the sign off is too difficult to get to. I realize changes probably needed to be made due to constant hacking attempts. However, this change doesn’t seem to have been thought out very well and is not as user friendly as the previous version. Also, the font is too small for older users.

It was unclear that the update was going to last an entire weekend. Normally, maintenance lasts a day at most. I would appreciate if it was made more clear next time. I was informed of the maintenance, but it seemed to take much more time than what I recall being told. I also think maintenance that makes an app as essential as your bank app unuseable for multiple days, warrants a more dedicated notification such as a phone call. I hope what I have said is considered going forward. Thank you.

Super unhappy with the fact that evidently nobody tested the app update before pushing it to live. The app is less intuitive but I guess someone thought it looks cool so now I have to live with it. No emphasis in UI design, everything is smaller and more homogeneous making it harder to understand compared to the old UI (which worked fine and had for years, no idea why you had to change to this awful looking homepage). Combing back through the 5y old reviews that are propped up by the App Store to make it look good, it’s obvious that Genysis’ IT Department is having their overworked and probably undermanned Help Desk Staff do all the user end troubleshooting instead of having developers actually test the software they’re forcing them to develop and release. Just disheartening to see, honestly. Also, and more importantly, Apple Cash and mobile pay declines for no reason which wouldn’t be so bad if there were anything in the Genisys Mobile Banking app to actually support Apple Pay (try to find it, I dare you). If you were going to do away with supporting Apple Pay, do you think you could have sent an email to users? Maybe I’m asking too much.Really cool team, thank you.
