Plus, built-in automated recipes know exactly at what temp and how long to cook your favorite cuts of meat.
Unlike many other grill monitoring apps, the Memphis Mobile app works through the cloud, meaning that as long as your cell phone has a connection and your grill is connected to your home Wi-Fi network, you can literally check your grill from anywhere in the world. The App allows you to adjust the temperatures of both your grill and meat probe set points. You are required to turn the grill on manually before use, but we’ve included a safety feature that allows you to power the grill down remotely. Happy grilling!
My original Memphis Advantage is a great grill, albeit with out Wi-Fi connectivity, but the temp controller was bang on and steady. This new Memphis Beal Street is such a let down from their previous model! After months with their (very nice) tech support, after new Wi-Fi card, update of the operating grill system, this grill still won’t connect to the app. The temp reading on the screen is 80 degrees off from an oven and infra red thermometer. I’ve purchased two Rectec grills for family members and there is no connection problems and temp readings are bang on with those. Very disappointed with Memphis. I saved up a lot of money for this grill and feel it was wasted.

For me, the app works fine. The issue is with the grill having to be reset nearly every time I use the wifi features. Its a pain and really shouldnt happen on a $7K grill when this technology is honestly old and common. That said, the app works good for me—being able to control the grill just fine, making adjustments, showing history of probe temps, etc. My only suggestion for the app is to change the graphed colors for the probes. Having all the probes displayed in shades of red/orange makes one almost indecipherable from another. I get your app colors are in that pallet but come on…. Lets try red green blue or something easily distinguished.

I like the Grill itself but the WiFi and app functions are absolute trash because it’s very unreliability and quite frankly rarely works at all. I’ve had the grill over a year and try to make the WiFi/App work every few months and it’s rarely successful and success is short-lived. If WiFi and app capabilities are important to you, don’t buy Memphis. It is crazy that Memphis tarnishes their reputation of an otherwise excellent grill because they can’t (or won’t) fix the WiFi and app functions.

At first I had trouble app was crashing and wasn’t able to use. You need to make sure the antenna is on the side of the grill and follow the troubleshooting directions on the internet. I eventually got the grill connected to the internet but the app kept crashing so I emailed customer service and they fixed the issue on their end and after they did I was able to log into the app and use it. I gave it 4 stars because of the difficulty at first.
