I really appreciate the ability to access all of my healthcare information past current and future. I like that I can make an appointment with any doctor, specialist or put on a waiting list!The only issue I’ve experienced thus far with making an appointment on the app, was with the plastic surgeons office on Cory Road, in Easton PA. I believe the receptionist called me as I was en route to my appointment and told me they were not going to be able to see me.I didn’t get the message and when I arrived, I was given a hard time about seeing the specialist. The specialist was very apologetic and confused why they weren’t going to have me seen. The assistant/nurse who did my evaluation before seeing the specialist/doctor, then came in and said “we do not like making or taking appointments that are made on the portal “. And I said to her that I thought it was great that we were able to do so and also see last minute appointments and schedule ourselves. She said well we were canceling you to teach them a lesson that we don’t like them doing that. She said it causes too much confusion for the scheduling receptionist, Betty. I’m not sure what’s going on with that situation, but it was not very professional at all.Other than that, I love everything about the portal and I’m sure you’re still working on it accuracy, but I feel that it has been very optimal and immediately updates your texts and phone. thank you for asking for our opinions!
