i looked up female drs because i dont like the idea of a male gyno. made the appt get to the address shown on the app, drs office is nowhere to be found, called the office and it was in a completely different area, i had to walk back all the way to my car, drive over to the building blocks away, park in PAID parking (i dont think they even validate). i look for the drs name in the directory, nope. i ask the gift shop/pharmacy, no dr by that name, call up again to drs office and i get the suite number get to the drs office and no womans name on the door, only male drs🤦🏻‍♀️😡🤬. i stuck with it because i needed to be seen for a real issue but the whole process was too much. im going to have to switch eventually which i didnt want to have to do

New updated policy killed the APP

If your policy changed in the new year, your app won't work. I have been trying to update the app to show my new policy, (which frankly) should have updated on it's own behind the scenes. It all coming from Premera anyway. I still work for the same company, they just changed policies in the new year. Banks seem to do this with no problems, you can even manage multiple accounts within other banking institutions. This should be no different. When I open the Premera app it should have my current Premera policy and all that is attached to it at my fingertips based on my email, password and all other information I provided when I downloaded the app. So frustrating, just like healthcare. This is not a hard problem. Especially frustrating for someone like me who all I wanted to do was look up a doctor on the app. But since I am under a new policy, cannot access it. Oh, and I tried to set up a new account for the new poilcy number, but it wouldn't work online and since my email is already attched to the outdated poilcy. It couldn't set up another account, unless I provide a different email address. Pure genius. Quit pushing your app so hard if it is a nusiance. Oh, I tried a calling but was on hold far too long. Who has time for this?

We're really sorry for your experience. When you get a new policy through us, you do not need to create a new account, nor add a new email address in order to access your new policy information. To access your new policy information, log into your existing account with us on Premera.com, and then hit "Add a plan" to add your new policy information. Once you've done this, you'll be able to view your new policy information. We are working on building out this experience for our mobile app as well, so that you don't need to log into the website to add your new policy details. Why is it that I can submit a medical, dental or vision claim on the Premera web site, but only submit a vision claim through the app? I installed this app thinking it would help me stay organized and submit claims as soon as they arrive. Imagine: snap a photo from phone camera at the clinic or as soon as a claim arrives in the mail, submit, done!Secondly why can’t I add my insurance card to Apple Wallet? That seems like a 1 day programming task.Please add these features. Otherwise this app is kinda useless.

I’ve looked up different providers and have had the worst luck. We were on vacation and got sick. I looked up “in-network” walk in clinics around us. I found 2 near us and 2 further away. The first wasn’t open anymore, the second was a hospital. I drove further away to find another permanently closed and the fourth was vaccinations only. We eventually drove close to 2 hours away to a Walgreens clinic that was an absolute joke. We were the only patient and they would only see one of us. The office was the size of my closet. How difficult is it going to be to find a specialist? Customer service takes forever and send you all over the place. I thought the app would be much easier. I was clearly wrong.
