Care My Way® from Marshfield Clinic provides you with quick resolutions to common health conditions through an online appointment with one of our trusted, experienced nurse practitioners.
Care My Way® is available from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. CST, seven days a week and is only available to people residing in Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota. The cost for each visit is $40 and is collected at the time of service. (Major credit cards accepted).
If you need a prescription, one can be sent to the pharmacy of your choice.

If you use Apple Health, you can choose to share your health information with the provider during your virtual video visit, such as heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, blood glucose levels, weight, nutritional information, and respiratory rate.
I tried the app for the first time today. The app is easy to install and use. Within 11 minutes of logging in, from the comfort of my own home, I received my diagnosis and prescription from a very knowledgeable and friendly nurse practitioner. I am so impressed with this service and if necessary, wouldn’t hesitate to use it again and recommend it to anyone I know. What a time saver!!!!
Not a time saver
Glitchy app or long wait time
Tried the app hoping to save some time and money from sitting in urgent care when I just want a strep swab. Signed in at 2:15 PM and it was searching for provider. Said it would “take a few minutes.” At 3:45 PM I killed the app and tried again, thinking maybe it was a technology glitch. It was searching for provider until I gave up again at 7:30 PM. Wanted to give it a little longer to see if maybe I was just in the back of a long wait list. I decided to give it one more try and same thing until I gave up at 8:45 PM. Over six hours waiting to just give up. The app seemed like it was searching for a provider and technology-wise it’s hard to say if it wasn’t working right of if their wait times are really ridiculously long. Either way it was a horrible experience.

I caught Covid and decided to use the Care My Way app to avoid exposing others. The first person I talked to via chat did not explain things well and eventually transferred me to someone on a phone. They claimed my copay was $79 and that the copay was always $79 even though my wife had called 30 minutes earlier and had a copay of only $40. Great start, right? The nurse herself was kind and informative, but never logged the Paxlovid prescription I needed. When I called 24 hours later, Marshfield said “they’d need to get back to me” about this. It’s in my chart, and Paxlovid is very time-sensitive. This is gross negligence, I recommend everyone avoid using this app.

I have been trying to change an appointment for a week and a half now. No one is answering the phone to do that. I even called the operator to make sure I had the right number and I did. There is only one person checking people in and she is very slow at it. I had an outside order that she put in and when o went there to have it done she couldn’t find the order. She said who put that on the schedule I said you did. She says well your name doesn’t even sound familiar. I’m there every two weeks and she is the only one checking people in duh!!! What’s going on with this clinic!!!!
