Limitations for password is terrible and I can’t lock my card and unlock it

I’ve basically had to change my password every time I wanted to check my account balance and the limitations on the password are so stupid. Why would having a password over eight characters be a bad thing.? If anything, you’re limiting the amount of password combinations, we can use by infinite possibilities, making it much more easy for someone to figure out our password.. I’m gonna give it one more time and if I have to change my password, I’m deleting this. And I could simply just call the number on the back of my card to get my balance. There’s really no convenience to this app because you can’t lock and unlock your card. I would actually consider it an inconvenience.

Not only did it lock me out due to facial recognition on my face but the worst part of this app is the constant resetting of your password. For example when heading to checkout I open the app to unlock my card and it immediately wants me to make a new password just after signing in. I use the card at the store. I then right away open the app again to lock the card, I sign in, and then it had me make another new password! I was told by a friend that this happens to them too every couple of months but they change the password in the settings instead so it doesn’t do it to them every time. I attempt that and just after making a new password and using that in the current password field and then putting in the new password I want as well as retyping it in that field it tells me current password is not correct!! That is impossible. I even attempted trying every other password that I’ve entered into the current to see if it is wanting a different one. Thinking that this is all a glitch or a bug that needs fixed. Either way I had no luck with this. I’m not looking forward to calling support being that my experience was horrible when I was locked out that one time. You call… they submit a call back that is a day or two… when they called they said they got no answer… I had no missed call or voice message… I found this out by having to call back… so I started the process over… called back and they took care of it. Wasn’t a long call but wasn’t the quickest. I JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY AREN’T FIXING THIS BUG THOUGH.

This is the worst designed app I have encountered in a long time. First off after creating my account about a month ago it was working fine. I went to log back in and it no longer worked. I have been trying to reset my info through the app even been calling the EBT card number but it has no option to speak to a representative about this app go figure. I then called my county assistance number to seek help and they are just as lost as me. I come here to seek help and I see that everyone else is basically having the same issues. I stumbled across the “App Support” and it takes me to an online version of this application and that’s where I was able to reset my information without any hassle. I went to the app and what do you know it works. This app needs a serious update or a better version needs added preferably with a chat function or a number with representatives that are available to assist. I mean come on this is ridiculous now and this will probably get no response but I’m going to share anyway. This may help out anyone else that needs it click on “ App Support” and change your passwords and retrieve your usernames there it worked for me with no problem and it let me log into the application.

I love this app!! It is easy to check a quick balance when you need it. Transactions are up to date and easy to cross-check when you need to. My ONLY complaint is using the card. I have recently discovered that the card is not recognized by some grocery terminals like Giant Foods. The card must be entered manually in order to use it and this rather holds up the line. In discussing this with a manager I was told it would be better if the card had the magnetic features it needs for automatic use. Redesigning the card would be helpful but I realize would be costly. My card is so old its even hard to read the numbers! At any rate “I love this app” no matter how it has to be used.
