Update: the app is still great to use. My only issue is with the customer service people. They make stuff up as they go along. I take Otezla & am am part of the Otezla copay assistance program. I send my payment through the Accredo app. I’m waiting for a reimbursement check. Called one CS person & after 22 minutes she told me the check was cut and UPS has it so I can track it thru them. I had a tracking number because anything a label is created for UPS, I automatically get notified by email from UPS. I double checked the tracking # & it was still showing only a label was created. I called Accredo back and spent 35 minutes with another CS rep. She told me it could take up to 30 days to get my check. Basically, both reps had NO CLUE what they were talking about and madethings up as they went along. Finally t the 2nd person figured out I had to talk with Otezla, gave me a number I& it was the wrong number 🤦🏻‍♀️. I called Accredo back, spoke with a 3rd person who put me in touch with the right person. Over 90 minutes to figure out where my check is. I’m ready to start taking another medication do it. An come from a different pharmacy!This app makes it so easy to order my refills! I’m going on vacation and just realized I will run out of Otezla while I’m away. With the app, I can order and have it delivered before I leave!

I’ve been using this app for about two years now; first with one medication and now with a new medication. There was a lengthy issue between switching medications and getting started on my most recent medication that I’ve been on for almost a year. That got sorted out after about a month (not without frustration), but I also have an insurance benefit where I pay little to nothing for this medication. However, no matter how many times my insurance company or I contact Accredo about this, the balance never goes away and always shows $3195, which I know is covered. Every time I open the app, I see this hefty outstanding balance and it causes unnecessary anxiety. Who likes to see that when they know they have a benefit that prevents a hefty balance? Other than the medication switch issue and the outstanding balance issue, everything else has been easy to use and navigate…

When I originally signed up for Accredo because I had a new prescription, I gave a representative my new insurance information as I stated that I have another policy that’s being canceled. After the preauthorization, they shipped my first dose. When it came time to get another dose, they said my insurance information was expired. I gave them my new insurance but apparently nobody listened or paid attention to what I said so I had to go through another preauthorization in fear of not being able to have my refill in time which scared me because the type of medication is life-sustaining. After I thought everything was said and done, I spoke to a representative after I gave them my new insurance information for the second time and they said everything would be OK. I spoke to a representative from Dana Farber and when she called on my behalf to Accredo, they said that I was supposed to call them to give them my information. Again, nobody pays attention to the fine detail and unfortunately I had to get another preauthorization. Finally after stress and all the issues that I went through with the help of a representative from Dana Farber, I was able to get my refill. This is sad and unfortunateAnd nobody should have to go through this stress especially when we are all diagnosed with cancer and that Accredo should understand that. Overall I am not happy and I am not satisfied! I hope this doesn’t happen again when I need another refill.

I’ve not even been able to get my first prescription delivered. I was told by blue cross blue shield that I needed to have my prescription sent to accredo to have one of my meds filled. I called to confirm that they had received my prescription from my doctor and I was told that they had but I needed to wait till they called me to setup the delivery. They never called so I called back several days later because I only had a few days left on my meds. I was told that I needed to be patient and wait till they called. I waited yet another day before I called again. The person I spoke to finally got the info needed to mail my meds. She said it would be delivered the next day. The next day nothing was delivered. I called in and was told that the meds had been delivered but they left off the apartment number so they didn’t know where. I called my apartment office and they didn’t have it either. They said they they would investigate and get back to me. I finally got a call back and spoke to a pharmacist that scolded me for waiting to request my meds so last minute. I was shocked because i had been trying to get them to send my meds for over a week. From my first time talking to someone at accredo they have come across as complacent with an attitude. They called me today to let me know that they will mail my meds again and I just needed to wait. I’m now out of a medication that I have to have to live. This has gone from irritating to scary. If you have to take your medicine every day and cannot miss doses this is the worst pharmacy you could use.
