I installed the intelliconnect last week and was able to get it set up fairly quickly. I have a solid WiFi signal, so had no issues with getting it connected to WiFi and the app. I made a mistake in the app in setting up my single speed pump up correctly that caused the it to not recognize it as the main filter pump so the heater would never turn on. I worked with the support group over a couple of calls to figure out what was wrong and they were eventually able to find my mistake. Appreciate their dedication to getting it up and running. As far as the app it seems stable and usability is good. Since the app collects the BTU info in the furnace it would be great to get some furnace run time and estimated usage details. Also I noticed whenever I click on the air temp it asks me to do an address update. Not sure why it keeps forgetting my address. This is the reason for 4 stars vs 5. Overall a good product.Also please add Apple Watch support for just Intelliconnect - would be useful.

I installed the intelliconnect last week and was able to get it set up fairly quickly. About the light options

Works so far for basic stuff like lights on/ off and a few colors. You can program light schedule but only for either weekend (Sat/ Sun) or weekdays (all other days) but that’s it. You can’t for example program it for Friday and Saturday night only or multiple times in a given day.The solid color options are very limited and there is no way to really adjust them beyond what’s there. Well actually I think I figured out a trick where you can start one of the “party modes” where colors are included (like orange) and then lock in one one to “hold” it there. But this color can then not be saved as an option- you have to trick it again later. This is not a good way to have to go about this in 2025. I would like to see a color selector option where you can customize and then save whatever color you want to a “favorites” to then use. Also the “party mode” has these pre set color combo’s it will modulate between: again I’d have expected an option here to make a custom one including what all colors it will include and how long each color is displayed. This may seem like asking for a lot but these seem like software limitations only which could be expanded on so we can do whatever light color we want and program them for whenever we feel like. I should be able to program it to display a different color or combo “party” mode every day of the week and maybe even different times/ colors within the same day with a better app design.

Does a good job connecting to Pentair equipment. Perhaps we’ve been spoiled by tech as what would make this a true smart device would be Alexis or Google Home integration. Years back they had it but removed it. I dream of the day when I can say, “Google turn on the spa.” Without fumbling through an app. We also have Google outside in our outdoor kitchen so having voice control would be so much better than trying to control a smartphone with wet hands. No options to dim lights is a true bummer. It’s either full blast or off. In the color light programs you can see the led lights dimming but without manual control this app is not for people with a keen eye to lighting design. No third party options either so you’re stuck with this tech. If pumps disconnect from wireless connection to control panel and there is no warning. So you can go on vacation and your pool can suddenly disconnect and you won’t know until you return. This happens only on rare occasions but some sort of notification would be a nice/typical feature. Lots of cool stuff here despite the aforementioned issues. Though it cannot connect to Google for scheduling, you have schedule controls within the app. Not perfect as you can’t turn on or off schedules with an easy button, you have to manipulate the schedules manually. So if you create multiple schedules for different seasons and want to switch things on and off, you have to recreate the schedules every season. It’s kind of a mess. I’m thankful, for now, it’s at least stable.

Reduces Intelliflo VS speed options

I have a major issue with this app which interfaces with the intellisync unit. I bought the intellisync to connect my intelliflo pump to control wirelessly and it does do that, but at the loss of significant programming functions. You essentially can only program 4 speeds for the pump and can switch between manual, timer and scheduled pump runs. The intelliflo pump (without the intellisync and Pentair home app) allows you to schedule up to 8 different scheduled pump flows throughout a 24 hour period so you can have more variety in pump flows throughout the day to fit your swimming needs better. When you use the Pentair home app, you also LOSE the ‘quick clean’ function which lets your pump run at a higher speed to skim out more surface debris or for allowing better more efficient dispersal of chemicals for the 15-30 minutes it runs. In the end, you lose a lot of programmable functionality of the intelliflo pump if you decide to make it wireless control through the Pentair home app. I don’t know who works on their software, but they need to talk to their hardware people so that they can make the iPhone app as functional as the manual functionality of the intelliflo pump. There should be no reason the Pentair home app can not be designed to allow for even more functional programming settings than the manual ‘dumb’ programming settings built into the intelliflo pump. If you don’t want to essentially lose 5 additional pump flow/rpm settings in your daily schedule, then you will not want to go with the Pentair home app controlling an intellisync unit that is connected to your intelliflo pump. You are better off using the included manual programming of the intelliflo pump and leaving it disconnected from the internet. Very disappointed in the Pentair home app and it’s lowered functionality with programming the intelliflo pump.

IF3: Added support for non‑Pentair color lights on the IntelliFlo3 (IF3) relay, allowing users to add and control compatible third‑party lights with color and light show options directly from the app. IntelliCenter: You can now set an automatic access removal date when inviting guests to manage your system—making it easy to grant and revoke access on your schedule. Resolved an issue that prevented history graphs from appearing in the app. Graphs are now visible as expected. Bug fixes & enhancements.
