I love the Kelsey App. It allows me to communicate directly with all of both my husband’s and my care teams. It provides me the ability to pay in advance of going to the campus for our visit(s). It allows us to requests assistance with regard to care, medication, or any other needs/concerns. It allows me see upcoming appoints and add it directly to may calendar from the app. I am able to modify and or cancel upcoming visits when our schedules have a conflict. The app allows me to see all of our care teams, what insurances are accepted, where they are located and to get directions from link directly within the app . It allows me to update medication list, allergies and pharmacy information. The app has allowed me to Integrate information from other medical hospitals and or facilities, giving our Kelsey team direct access to information. I love that we can see testing results within the app, which also allows us to see the trends so we can see if we’re doing better or worse in our goal to better health. With the ability to access after visit summaries online, there is no need to waste paper having the onsite team print the document, when it is readily available online. It puts everything at our fingertips, which is so convenient. All of the conveniences I have listed, plus so much more makes this app TOTALLY AWESOME.Sincerely, Olivia Gray
Great for Scheduling & Communicating with clinicians

I am pretty impressed. I really appreciate being able to schedule office appointments, video visits, testing as well as being able to contact clinicians with questions, give updates on me, ask questions to clinicians. This is so much better than sitting on the phone on hold! Nice to be able to read reports on studies done. With bloodwork, it’s nice to see historical trends on the MyKelsey app. Whoever maintains the app does a nice job to make communicating between patients & clinicians smoother. There is a culture of IT at Kelsey tweaking the interface of the patient portal to make the portal easy and relevant for both clinicians and patients. It seems there is a culture, a habit of clinicians to readily use this Epic software patient portal in contrast to other institutions (cough cough! Like UT Houston med school medical staff). Really grateful for the ease of use.
1093 Katy location
I’ll patient
This used to be my favorite location until this morning. I had a virtual visit scheduled the last night. Had to make an appointment to get my flu test and strep test. Called to make the appointment and was told I didn’t need to make one and I could walk in. I made sure that I said what type of tests they were. I went into the Katy clinic and was told that from the employee behind the desk that I didn’t have an appointment so she couldn’t help me. She told me to call patient services and gave me the number because a nurse wasn’t there until 8 am. I went back out the car because it was 7 am. I called to get a hold of the nurse for my doctor and a triage nurse answered and told me she saw my labs in the system and to walk back in and go to the correct counter and they could take me. I told her I went to the correct counter and she started arguing with me. I went back inside and told the young lady again I just called Kelsey and they told me to come back inside so she could help me. She refused to help me. I left and called patient services and they tell me I now have to have a referral. Being that I was ill didn’t help me feel any better. I am not sure that the employees know the protocols at this location because I had to jump through hoops. Thank goodness my doctor and her nurse assisted me and I’m the phone and told me the correct protocol going forward but I was also told that the young lady could have helped accommodate me. I’m done with that location. I have reached out to Mrs. Cunningham and I am waiting on her to call me back.
Wonderful Communication Tool

First, I am beyond ecstatic that my insurance is now accepted at Kelsey - my doctors are kind, compassionate, and very thorough - a rarity in the healthcare industry today. One of the most wonderful aspects of using Kelsey Seybold (beyond the awesome care team) is the My Kelsey app. It is easy to use, it puts you in touch with your care team at any point during the day! Because of the diligence of Kelsey staff, questions and concerns that you submit through the app are almost always answered within a day! Also, you have 24x7 access to your medical records - which is a very nice feature. Also, when you have tests done, as soon as the lab staff completes your tests, the results are posted immediately and generally, your care team interprets your tests within a day or so.Awesome app and I HIGHLY recommend!
Miscellaneous fixes and improvements.
