Control your hearing aids discreetly with the touch of a finger This app lets you control your hearing aids from your mobile device. It comes with an app for Apple Watch helping you discreetly change programs and adjust volume (when within Bluetooth range). Note: some features may be available depending on your hearing aid model. Check below for details. • Adjust sound volume for each hearing aid together or separately • Mute surroundings for better focus • Switch between programs set by your hearing care professional • Check battery level • Stream calls, music, and podcasts directly to your hearing aids (availability may vary depending on your phone model) • Find your hearing aids if lost (requires location services always turned on) • Access app support and troubleshooting solutions • Meet your hearing care professional for an online visit (by appointment) • Adjust streaming sounds with streaming equalizer (available for all hearing aid models except Philips HearLink 00) • Adjust sounds around you with sound equalizer (available for Philips HearLink 50 and 40 models) • Track your progress with Philips Journal feature (available for Philips HearLink 50 and 40 models) • Handle wireless accessories paired with your hearing aids such as TV Adapters and AudioClip • Connect to and adjust an Auracast™ broadcast (available for Philips HearLink 50 models) First use: You need to pair your hearing aids with this app to use it to control your hearing aids. I’ve worn hearing aids for that past twenty years. I’ve had numerous devices over that time. These are the best, by far, that I’ve ever owned. The automatic setting, which adjust to you surrounding and environment, is so nice and works flawlessly.I was skeptical of rechargeable hearing aids, due to the extended period of use. I have worn them over 16 hours (intentionally ) and they never quite working.The charging case is nice when you’re traveling. You don’t need to bring charging cords.I’m truly enjoying these hearing aids.

I bought these after losing one of another brand. I upgraded to Phillips because the app that tracks the aids through BT connectivity and if I were to lose one, I can check the app to see where it was last connected. It worked perfectly. Even if I moved away from my phone and it disconnected, it would automatically reconnect when in range again. In addition, the hearing aids were significantly better than the ones I had.Then they updated the app to HearLink2. Unfortunately this is a downgrade. After trying it, I found it disconnected randomly throughout the day and it can not reconnect on its own. This is disappointing because if it’s disconnected and I were to lose one, it will not be able to help me find it. I wasn’t a big concern because I could continue using the old app. I just I knew if I get a new phone, I will not be able to get the working app anymore.My disappointment compounded when they updated the old app so it no longer works; it merely directs you to the new downgraded one. I’ll let the reader speculate as to why a major corporation would downgrade an app so if you were to lose a hearing aid, you will likely never find it.

Much improved but…

When I first got the app, frankly, I panned it. It wasn’t ready for release. It struggled with everything, even pairing. Full credit: The improvement is remarkable. I experience a rare glitch but even then easy to resolve. It’s not quite bullet proof but what a difference! Good job for all the effort on it!Now, if you could PLEASE rebuild the completely useless Apple Watch app. It’s truly awful. I’ve yet to find even 1 basic feature that works. AND it requires my phone to even launch or stay connected which means I can’t leave my phone - ever! Even when connected, it’s a trick - it may be connected but won’t do anything else. Can’t change programs, won’t send audio from watch to hearing devices, can’t force re-connection… I only haven’t deleted it because I keep hoping for the miracle upgrade that hasn’t yet come…

Nice app, would like more functionality

Functionally it works well most the time. Having issues with Bluetooth disconnecting which requires a hard restart to reconnect. Not the most convenient thing of in public.Loved the fact the streaming and hearing aids work at the sane time. Not so thrilled with the quality of the equalizer separation. Having more bands would be even better. Finally, I use iPad and iPhone, and the does not appear to be ha off functionality. Bluetooth needs to be shutoff on one device and app closed for the other to work error free.

This app version comes with smoother switching between programs. It also lets you find and join available Auracast™ broadcasts directly from the app. Auracast broadcast (available with select hearing aids) allows you to connect to public broadcasts in e.g. airports, theaters, lectures.
