Control your hearing aids discreetly with the touch of a finger This app lets you control your hearing aids from your mobile device. It comes with an app for Apple Watch helping you discreetly change programs and adjust volume (when within Bluetooth range). Just a note: some features may be available depending on your hearing aid model. Check below for details. • Adjust the sound volume for each hearing aid together or separately • Mute surroundings for better focus • Switch between programs set by your hearing care professional • Check battery levels • Use SpeechBooster to reduce background noise and enhance speech (available for all hearing aid models except Oticon Opn™) • Stream calls, music, and podcasts directly to your hearing aids (availability may vary depending on your phone model) • Find your hearing aids if lost (requires location services to always be turned on) • Access app support and troubleshooting solutions • Meet your hearing care professional for an online visit (by appointment) • Adjust streaming sounds with streaming equalizer (available for all hearing aid models except Oticon Opn™ and Oticon Siya) • Adjust sounds around you with sound equalizer (available for Oticon Intent™ and Oticon Real™ models) • Track your progress with HearingFitness™ feature (available for Oticon Intent™ and Oticon Real™ models) • Handle wireless accessories paired with your hearing aids such as TV Adapters, Oticon EduMic or ConnectClip • Connect to and adjust an Auracast™ broadcast (available for Oticon Intent™ and Oticon Zeal™ models) First use: You need to pair your hearing aids with this app to use it to control your hearing aids. I have been using the Companion app with my Oticon Intent 2 hearing aids for one month. I am still learning, but the basic controls are quite straightforward. My audiologist provided four basic listening situations which can be tweaked with the volume, balance, and equalizer controls.Streaming media and phone calls directly to my hearing aids is a real plus. My favorite feature is the “Mute” button. You can use it when neighbors are mowing their lawns or running chainsaws. I use it mostly to dampen the morning TV news.I did not mention previously that I have an iPhone 16 paired to my Oticon Intent 2 hearing aids.I think it would be helpful to reviewers if reviews included the make and model of all the devices associated with their hearing aids. Many older smartphones do not have the capability to handle all the features which modern hearing aids are capable of providing.

I was pleasantly surprised to get a prompt response to my inquiry, even at 10pm in the evening. As with many other companies with a help line they normally respond within a week or later. Sometimes they don’t respond at all. So I was very impressed with a response email within 30 minutes. The instructions given from your service representative was clear and concise and I was able to resolve my problem within minutes. I’m truly impressed. My only other concern is that my Bluetooth signal will periodically fade in and out during the day, even with fully charged batteries. This is a minor inconvenience and not a deal breaker. Thank you again!

You really need to find a fix for this problem. Since the new app my phone keeps disconnecting from the app. Over and over again. I need to restart my phone to reconnect to aids which when receiving a call means I need to disconnect my call. I complained many times when the new app came out but nothing has changed. I have seen only 1 app update in that time although you say you are always updating the app. I have complained to the VA about this many times and they say you will be updating soon . This is nothing new to them. I a due new aids in a few months from them and will not be getting Oticon because of the connection issues. Was told many of my fellow veterans are doing the same. It would behove you to find a fix sooner rather than later. This was my second set of Oticons it’s a shame to need to change brands for this connection issue. Please try to fix. Thank You

No ring on hearing aids

My wife had an issue with ringtone on phone not working on hearing aids. After spending several hours trying to resolve the problem I contacted support. I received a response within 30 minutes with recommendations. I tried them all with no success. Sent a reply to support indicating nothing worked. A few minutes later I got another response within more suggestions. This time one of the suggestions worked. It was simply the silent switch on the side of her iPhone was in the wrong position. I was really surprised by the quick response and overwhelmed with joy being able to resolve the problem. Thank you!

This app version comes with smoother switching between programs. It also lets you find and join available Auracast™ broadcasts directly from the app. Auracast broadcast (available with select hearing aids) allows you to connect to public broadcasts in e.g. airports, theaters, lectures.
