As a user of the National General mobile app, I am pleased to say that it has been a game-changer for managing my insurance needs. I have been using the app for some time now, and I must say that I am impressed with the improvements that National General has been making in the app.Firstly, the app's user interface is clean and intuitive, making it easy for me to navigate and find what I need quickly. Secondly, the app is fast and responsive, making it easy for me to access my insurance policy information, make payments, and file claims.I appreciate that National General is committed to improving the app, and they have been fixing any bugs that appear in a timely manner. It is normal for bugs to arise in any app, and what matters is that the National General team is responsive to feedback and works diligently to solve any issues.Overall, I am very impressed with the National General mobile app and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy and convenient way to manage their insurance needs. Kudos to the National General team for their hard work and dedication to improving the app.

I would honestly give it one star, but the support for face id sign in and the ability to download my cards bumps it up to two.Coming from progressive, it really shows how much UX really affects your experience and perspective. I’ve heard good things about national, but my personal experience just through the web panel and app has been terrible.The app takes a good 5-8 seconds on initial sign in. Navigating between pages takes another 2-3 seconds. The UI is concise- which I appreciate. But it also looks like something straight out of 2010. Thank god there’s a dark mode toggle though.I’m not going to rant too much regarding the web app, since this review is for the mobile app; but let it be known that the web app also suffers from a ton of issues. Especially regarding account management (policy changes requiring a new account, old accounts not being deleted, random errors on login, etc).But my absolute biggest pet-peeve is the lack of apple wallet integration. I have to download a PDF of my id cards or print them. Having my ID cards in my apple wallet is something I regretfully took for granted with progressive.I hope improvements are made in the future, especially considering the apps are a lot of people’s first impressions regarding the company. To be completely honest, I probably will be going back to progressive after my policy expires. I don’t mind paying a little bit extra for the peace of mind knowing that I’ll always be able to access my account in times of an emergency, and do so in a UX friendly way.

I’ve had no issues with this company at all! One of the reviews is literally the persons own fault because they did not speak with the insurance adjuster and get all the information they needed once a decision was made. The second review I read was again the other persons fault for not paying their own insurance. Which they DO send emails, notifications and will call you prior to it being late. I literally was in a bad accident with a truck carrying wood and my car was totaled. The truck dropped wood on the Highway and didn’t realize and I ran into a pole trying to avoid traffic and a pile up. They did everything within a few weeks and totaled my car out. I have absolutely no complaints with them plus they’re one of the more reasonable priced insurances even for first time drivers. And I have full coverage btw

I reported a hit and run and they approved the repairs with the repair shop. A supplemental was approved for payment by the appraiser. Claiming a check would be mailed to the shop. Two months later the shop called me because they hadn’t received payment. They themselves have had to make multiple attempts to get someone on the phone. Apparently if you don’t talk to the adjuster there is no one above them to talk to. It stops at the adjuster. Finally after hours of phone calls and emails and no response I had to get the operator to do a three way call to get to the adjuster on the phone because she was ignoring my calls and emails. She then told me the claim was under investigation for a second time after questioning my statement on how the damage occurred. Two months zero communication from the adjuster regarding this. Zero communication from the beginning of the claim. Now the repair shop is saying I’m now liable for payment. I think this company is shady and they need to be investigated.
