One or both aids will disconnect and randomly switch settings hurting my ears. This are my first hearing aids and it is not a good experience. When trying to adjust the settings to get a better sound quality, the screen flips back to Home Screen and I can never set the sound. This is very annoying.
Bluetooth Connectivity Issues
ABPC55
After using Allure hearing aidsfor four months I’ve come to the conclusion that there is a fundamental problem with BT connectivity. It randomly, and unexpectedly, drops the connection to one or both hearing aids. Incoming phone calls are pot-luck and returning back after a phone call is weird. Many times I have to reboot everything and start over. Also, the need to enter the equalizer and adjust one increment to get clearer sound is bizarre. Seriousproblems here. I also use TVPlus and connectivity and integration with incoming phone calls while using TVP isn’t smooth. Many times I need to call the caller back once I reboot my app and devices. All-in-all, not a smooth experience and doesn’t perform as expected. Note: I am previous Widex Moment user of 4+ years without any of these issues. My purchase was from my audiologist and included Widex company rep for setup. Have told them and gone through their technical support, problem not resolved.
Significant Blue tooth connectivity Problems
Roaring VIB
For several months, app doesn't connect! At best 2% of the time it connects to hearing aids. Most of the time app doesn't recognize the hearing aids. I searched Chaptgpt asking if this is a common complaint among users and the answer is an unequivocal yes: Many users have the same problem. ai says that there's a hardware incompatibility issue. This means that the manufacturer made an error and is selling a bad product with a known defect. Shame on them. Many times I tried to follow app recommendation to unpair and reconnect. Sadly even this is ineffective. After unpairing, hearing aids are not visible so there's no way to reconnect. The negative is significant and had I known about thisnkmown issue I wouldn't have made this purchase. Apparently we may have legal grounds to demand a replacement due to it being a lemon. At the same time the hearing aids have great sound quality.
Bluetooth major issues
Gskieratl
As others stated the Bluetooth simply won’t stay connected. It randomly reconnects at will. Eg: such as for an incoming call it defaults to my hearing aides. I don’t really want them too. However, when streaming music they almost NEVR connect. I have to turn off phone and restart. They will connect, but then disconnect again. Then, I have to “forget device” and repair all over. This occurs EVERYDAY. $8,000 for these????? Still within my return period and they are going back. What a waste. I can’t run any tinnitus apps through them either - the main reason I bought them. If you can’t get Bluetooth to work, don’t sell this product!!!!!
