The SugarPixel itself is great, my only request for the device would be a rechargeable battery to allow a smaller footprint. The app on the other hand, leaves much to be desired and is not very well thought out, but again the device itself is great and I highly recommend.

I love my Sugar Pixels! Having 3 T1s in the house has caused a serious alarm fatigue. I never wake up to alarms and sometimes miss them just going about my day.. they’re constantly going off for SOMEone. It’s loud enough for the whole house to hear and you can never mistake it. The app is so easy to use. Setup is relatively easy as well. Troubleshooting is so simple when having WiFi issues. We already have 2 and plan on grabbing another set when my oldest goes to college. I won’t let him leave home without it!

Love the Sugarpixel. Before the app, the configuration process was pretty rough around the edges. I’m a tech person, but it seemed like it’d be too intimidating for someone less familiar. The app is still pretty basic at the moment, but it’s so much more approachable than the previous system (which involved finding and typing local IP addresses into a browser). Huge improvement and excited to see a great product getting even better.

This device and companion app has been a life changer for my home. With a 10 y/o with T1, they are not ready to fully manage things and this helps the whole house understand what is going on clearly so we can take action. The app is easy to navigate and setup of the device is quick. We take it anywhere we go when we travel and stay overnight. Much thanks to the CustomTypeOne team.
