Calm is one of the few wellness apps I’ve used that I actually come back to. I originally downloaded it for sleep, but I ended up using the breathing exercises, meditations, and sleep stories way more than I expected. I like that there are options for different moods and different amounts of time, so I don’t feel like I have to commit to a long session just to get something out of it. The app itself is easy to use, relaxing without feeling overdone, and genuinely helps me settle down when my mind is running nonstop. Definitely worth trying if you have a hard time winding down or just want something that makes your day feel a little less chaotic.
No shortcuts integration

I was recently forced to move over to Calm Health because my healthcare system no longer is connected with the original Calm app. This is very disappointing because I normally just use sleep stories and meditations, and this app is way too much more than I actually require. I also was frequently using the Shortcuts app that’s built into iOS devices to help navigate to a specific area within the app with just one quick tap or sentence to Siri. Well Calm Health has zero integration with Shortcuts so it now takes me a frustrating amount of time to find where I am looking for and then AirPlay it to my HomePods. About 4x as long and about 4x as many taps to get there. Before, I asked Siri one keyword sentence and it went to the exact thing and then played it in seconds.I am very disappointed in this app and it is not a replacement for the original Calm app. Also I wish that you could see more than 5 of each of the Dailies. There is no reason that I can see for a limit there. Also i was a power user of the original app and lost my 1020 day streak. :(I wish I still had access to the Calm app at this point.

This is changing my life! But there is room for improvement

I got the sponsor for this app thru my health insurance and I love the quality of the content so much. It’s available just the right time for me and just simply a game changer. The content and voices sooth my brain and emotion. However, I find it a little bit hard to wander around and find the content that I like. And it’s not easy to find the program that I’m following. The progress tracker is not very efficient for me. For example, I finished the program but want to listen to some session a again, that program will show up like I’m starting from scratch. Or it only allows me to play in background at the first time opening the program. If I pause for a little and resume, the sound turns off with my screen off and I have exist the program, reopen it again so that I can turn my screen off. Those are some small things but really impact my experience. I hope those will go away in future updates.
Please add feature!!!

My company sponsored a Calm membership, but found it cancelled. New Benefit Provider (UHC) new Calm Health app…MISSING the ability to Favorite Playlists for Sleep, Relaxation…etc. though you can favorite individual “sessions” within which does NOT bring you to the playlist just plays that “session”, track, song, whatever you choose to call it. So…each night or each day the user has to search for the darn playlist through the glitchy, scroll freezing app, to find a playlist. This design should have copied the original Calm app features, then layered in the extra psychiatric evaluation/self - help recommendations and programs. If you ask me I’d say it’s more frustrating than “Calm”ing. This must be specifically designed to cater to commercial accounts and collect data due to not much thought out into legacy transitions, where none of your previous account info transfers, yet you still login through Calm portal if a legacy customer. Poor transitional integration, this was designed for “New Users”, and offers only base functionality.
Sleep Now: Need help sleeping? Between 9pm and 5am, Sleep Now gives you a calm, focused view of Sleep Stories, Soundscapes, and Sleep Meditations, plus your recent and favorite sleep content.
Home Shortcuts: Find what matters most to you, faster. Customize the order to make getting around the app even simpler.
Dark mode: Set your app to default to dark mode for the most calming experience.
