A new interactive way to explore kanji, an in-app appearance override, and a bunch of readability and accuracy fixes. KANJI Discover how kanji relate to each other with a new interactive graph. Start from any kanji, see the components it's built from, then branch out to every other kanji that shares them — moving through the whole web of connections at a tap. Tapping a font variant tile now opens a large, swipeable view of that character. APPEARANCE OVERRIDE A new Appearance setting lets you force Light or Dark mode for the app, independent of your device's system-wide setting. A much smarter Analyser, tighter integration of Tae Kim's grammar guide throughout, flashcards that mix study direction, and an easier way to browse your saved lists — plus a long list of accuracy fixes across the dictionary. A MUCH SMARTER ANALYSER The sentence Analyser now recognizes far more conjugations, casual contractions, and compound verb forms, and does a much better job picking the right word when several share the same reading or spelling. The "From X — Y of Z" banner that explains a conjugation now covers many more grammar points and jumps straight to the exact section of the matching Tae Kim lesson instead of the top of the page. The sentence view highlights the current word and auto-scrolls to keep the word you're reading in sight. FLASHCARDS: STUDY IN BOTH DIRECTIONS Flashcard decks can now mix Japanese-to-native and native-to-Japanese prompts within the same review session, so recall gets reinforced in both directions once a card has matured. It's an opt-in setting, available per deck or as a new global default. EASIER TO FIND AND SAVE The "Save to Lists" picker now shows your most recently used lists up top, followed by your full list hierarchy with proper indentation, so nested lists are easy to spot at a glance. KANJI A kanji's Components row is now tappable too, taking you straight to the radical or kanji each piece belongs to. Release targeted mostly at iOS4 devices, fixing a problem with the kanji detail screen not displaying and the multi-radical view layout incorrect.
