I've been a Wescom member for about 5 years, and the mobile app has been decent at best. However, the latest version has taken it to a whole new level. This app is a game-changer, and I can confidently say that it exceeds all my mobile banking needs.The first thing that struck me about the new version was its sleek and modern design. The interface is intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly. Navigation is a breeze, and I can access all the essential features with just a few taps.One of the slick features of the Wescom mobile app is the ability to schedule appointments seamlessly. Whether I need to meet with a loan officer, open a new account, or discuss investment options, I can book an appointment with just a few clicks. The app even allows me to choose my preferred branch and time slot, making the process incredibly convenient.Finding the nearest Wescom branch or ATM has never been easier. The app's location services integrate seamlessly, providing me with accurate and up-to-date information on the closest facilities.The app of course also offers a comprehensive suite of banking tools, including account management, bill pay, mobile check deposit, and secure messaging. I can easily transfer funds between my Wescom and external accounts, use Zelle, pay bills, and monitor my account balances, all from the palm of my hand.Thank you Wescom for listening and acting on the feedback of your members!

Zelle note trouble

When sending Zelle payment the notes, the “What’s this for?” field, let’s me get the paste option but no matter what I try it will not actually paste the note in. Since my landlord recently switched to Zelle payment, I have to write a rather extensive note to ensure I get credit for my rent payment. But having to type it twice each month is getting old fast. (Since I must send two payments each month.) Please make the paste function work, so I can copy my last month’s note and paste it into this month’s note for each payment and just edit the month name. Thank you.

Driving all my life
As a CCFCU customer who was merged as of June 1st I have had nothing but problems. The app has no convenience message or chat options to get answers and a phone call takes 45 minutes to reach someone. Zelle is constantly needing to be renewed as everyone gets a prompt that I have unenrolled. I was told to use the routing number and account number in my app for automatic payments however payments have been returned, when I finally get through to customer service a different rep tells me don’t include the zero’s in the beginning of the account number. If the account number in my app is not correct then correct it. 40 years with fort ord credit union aka Central Coast and now I’m just a number. It’s like going from crème brûlée to jello. We can put a man on the moon and invent vehicles that drive themselves but can’t seem to get the simple things to work. A little frustrated.

This is the worst bank ever. They said they were going to put a hold on my account to review it and they will get back to me. I waited and waited for them to call me back with a result and they NEVER did. So I called and asked about it and they said it’s still under review and they’ll get back to me once they decide whether they’re going to release the hold on my account or not. So I wait and wait and wait… and never hear back from them. Then I realized that the IRS sent my stimulus payment back in April to this account. When I call to ask about it, they said since my account is “CLOSED” the stimulus payment was returned to them. UGH!!! I didn’t know my account was CLOSED? I was still waiting for them to get back to me which they never did. Then I had to wait a few more weeks for the stimulus payment to arrive in mail by check. Then I realized they just left me hanging thinking they’ll decided on reviewing my account soon. Well, it’s been more than a year and still no phone call! Then come 2021, and I decide to close the account. I also opened a credit card account to maintain a Signature Membership, which they only gave me $500 credit limit when I have 740 credit score. Other credit card companies out there gave me initial credit limit of anywhere from $6K to $7K with cash backs and other sweet benefits when all they were offering was some points that can convert into gift cards. The person on the other line told me I can’t even close the account over the phone and I have to go inside the branch. REALLY??? WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC. You really suggest that I go inside the branch just to close the account? Very unprofessional and stupid bank. STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN THEY WILL JUST LEAVE YOU HANGING THINKING THEY’LL REINSTATE YOUR ACCOUNT WHEN THEY JUST WANT YOU TO BE THE ONE TO END THE BANKING RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM. It would’ve been nice if they were more straight forward as that’s how I would like my bank to be. Not some stupid credit union that beats around the bush.
