First Bank has been my go to bank for a few years now. I absolutely love them. I love that I can use the app to check my accounts on the go. I can also call them and go to one of their locations and ask for help about my accounts if I need it. First Bank is truly one of the best banks I have ever used. And the people who work at First Bank treat you like family. They make sure you are taken care of and they are willing to go up and beyond to give you the best customer service possible. First Bank in my opinion, is the absolute best bank to have. Every time I have gone there, the people who work there treat me like family and make sure I get taken care of.
App works great howeve banking services could be better

I wanted to switch banks after Wells Fargo’s fiasco with lines of credit few years ago so I went to this bank. The local branch and app experience is great however what I don’t understand is dragging of the services like line of credit, personal loan and mortgage. I applied for mortgage and waited and waited after initial call and application with “some higher up” responsible for that, after few months of no activities I found out the application was still just sitting in somebody’s drawer and nothing was done. The same was with line of credit / personal loan. The only thing they could do for me do was credit card which I didn’t want yet as it would bang my credit score before the mortgage. So I went to Wells Fargo again to local branch that did mortgages and they managed to put themselves together and approved everything in a record time of a few weeks. I bet First Bank still has my applications in somebody’s drawer sitting until today as they still haven’t contacted me since. It could be a good bank but they are very slow with loaning banking services and they don’t contact you until you keep bugging them repeatedly. I just keep the checking account there in case Wells Fargo fails…
It is 2021 and still can’t get this right

I realize we can’t go backwards, but this Bank sure makes a strong effort to do so. Before First Bank bought our local bank out, online banking worked like a charm... Since then it’s been a constant struggle to figure out how to make changes within Bill Pay or to verify which online payments are in que to be paid. It should be intuitive, easy to use, and easy to see; it is not! It should be fluid and easy to make changes; it is not! Even when sitting down at a computer to do online banking, First Bank has managed to make Online BillPay difficult!!! For the past three months, I’ve had to call them to make changes within accounts to be paid; I even had to delete one account completely because it was being paid out even after I changed it online the previous week. Great people at the bank, but this App and the people running the app and the Online Bill Pay looks like something out of Deliverance!
Good But Miss Some Features

I think the app overall is great! Haven’t had any issues with anything function wise or anything like that. I do miss one feature that my old bank had in their app though which just made tracking transactions easier. They had a feature that grouped transactions together by date which doesn’t sound like a big deal, but that simple organization really helped to reduce the overall amount of time spent tracking transactions when balancing things out. Would be cool to see that here as well.
