This new update is terrible.

I really enjoyed using the app and the convenience of being able to deposit checks and check my balance but this new update has made it pretty much miserable to even have to open it. The transaction display is lacking and looks like an older version. It kept telling me my deposits could not be processed but then 15 minutes later they were deposited into my account. I’d rather you go back to the old version. I’m not sure what is going on in the new one but it needs some work. With that being said I do enjoy banking with Truliant and their customer service is top notch. This app though... not a good representation on the bank itself.

This app has made my baking with Trulaint so much easier! It has cut down my phone time by 60% and my physical banking time by 30%. With the ATM assistance right on the out side of the building that made baking even easier. And if problem at the ATM’s (I can just walk right in if I need to, if they’re open). Face to face customers service is off the chain at the Prosperity Church Road, Hunterville and Back Creek road locations! I enjoy greeting the people as I walk in, the loan folks and the loan folks on the phone. The are all knowledgeable, friendly and can make things happen for you in most cases. I am so glad that I’m switching all my finances to Truliant over the course of a few years. Gregg M

Breach of Security

I have been in contact with the bank for almost a year now regarding a breach of security with this app. When they removed the credit card platform to an independent app information that was not mine was saved as default contact and no matter what I do the program still defaults back to someone else’s information that is not mine. I absolutely loved banking with Truliant until this happened and appalled at the intentional neglect on their behalf to not fix the issue the minute it was recorded .

As a long standing member of NFCU, I truly love everything about them, and the use of their app is by far a world class experience!! Our only gripe is the fact they don’t have a high yield savings account. As a result, my husband and I decided to join Truliant for their high yield savings account. Great.Their app?! Holy smokes Batman!! We have our app notifications set to try and mirror the experience we have we NCFU, where we’re to receive a notification for ANY transaction with our account as soon as it happens. NFCU, when you make a transaction you receive a notice to your phone before you’re able to put your card back in your wallet, or close the confirmation screen. Truliant?!?! We get notifications DAYS later! I’ve reported it to the customer service and they swear nothing is wrong with the app, there’s no delays, but 4 months later we still experience this issue after updating the app, uninstalling and reinstalling again, restarting the phone….its not us, it’s them.Also, I needed to change my ATM pin and had to call customer service in order to do it….NFCU you could do it straight from your app.We travel out of the country, of even domestically, NFCU has an option within the app to set travel plans (even with multiple destinations within one trip) so your transactions won’t get declined on travel as a safety measure…..Truliant has no such thing.The day we went in the branch and signed up for our account, our agent swore their account had top of the line technology and was greatly competitive. No truths there. It’s pretty antiquated if you ask me. Needless to say, the user experience is EVERYTHING these days, and Truliant’s app has some major configuring to do to even compete in today’s climate.As a result, my husband and I are starting to explore different high yield options, solely because of this app experience.
