I have been a loyal customer with Clearview Federal Credit Union. I have been given loans, outstanding customer service, and have been treated as a valued customer since then. The only thing that concerns me over time, there are now credit unions who are suspending share branch options with other credit unions, such as Clearview federal credit union. However, this will not stop me from being a customer. I had open custodial accounts for our girls who have also been customers for the past couple of years. I will always provide honest feedback for them because of the way I was treated as a valued customer. I would suggest those who are able to open account live them, to look into it. They are outstanding.

I’ve been with Clearview for almost 10 years. I’ve had the app since it came out. This check deposit feature is JUNK. Why did you feel the need to change it. I can’t deposit a check, just keeps telling me to rotate my device. I’ve rotated. I’ve uninstalled. Restarted, redownloaded. Junk.

Beware of Early Pay

I really wanted to enjoy being a member here, but despite the impressive technology, sleek app, and convenient virtual tellers, Clearview is far behind the times when it comes to processing direct deposits. At my previous bank and credit union, direct deposits were handled electronically and showed up in my account within minutes.With Clearview, my employer sends the deposit on Tuesday night, yet it doesn’t post until Wednesday evening—not Wednesday morning. When I asked why, I was told that Clearview manually processes direct deposits. It’s 2025—why would a financial institution manually handle something that’s already transmitted electronically?I like Clearview as a credit union, and I’ll likely keep my savings account open, but I’m closing my checking and returning my direct deposits to my previous bank. I truly hope Clearview modernizes this process. If they do, I’d be more than happy to bring my checking back.

Persistent App Crashes with Zelle & Consistent Outages

I’ve been experiencing ongoing issues with the Clearview app that are becoming very frustrating. There seem to be frequent outages and slow response times, and I haven’t been able to figure out how to set up text alerts. Most importantly, whenever I try to use Zelle, the app crashes as soon as I click “Transfer with Zelle.” The only way to fix it is to uninstall and reinstall the app, which temporarily works for a week or two before the same problem starts again. Furthermore, and not related to a technical issue I am not a fan of Clearview taking 24 to 48 hours and sometimes more to process electronic payments, especially when made from Melio
