This jam session was different than most I’ve attended. The players were in a cramped area in a corner of the small front room, and although advertised as an acoustic Jam, everyone was amplified except me. It was also not as organized. Whoever wanted to play just started playing and would play one or two songs and someone else would play one or two songs. I guess I am used to jams with an established “rotation.” The players were also way younger than I playing 80s-90s and newer music. Good jam for the younger players.
I love the app but I got some suggestions to make it better

The app is amazing I can find events around me and the filters are perfect for me to choose what I want to find specifically but one suggestion that I would recommend is the location option, as far as I can see I can only put 1 location per time and that really limits on the events I’m looking for around me which makes it harder for me to find. I do understand the app have an option of “Events in nearby cities” but for some reason it recommended cities all the way around the country 3000 miles away from me, and I do have my location settings on. My suggestion would be making the setting of choosing your city/location not just a single place but multiple, select cities you want to see events and etc. that would really save everyone’s time from searching for events. Thank you.
Beware of Scams Facilitated Through This App

I had a terrible experience with the All Events app, and I want to warn others about a scam that took place through this platform. Here’s what happened: I was trying to book tickets for an event listed on the app. The app showed that the event was "sold out," but I received an **official email notification from the app** and also an **in-app notification** providing a phone number to text for ticket availability. Trusting that this was legitimate since it came directly from the app, I contacted the number provided. The person claimed to have tickets and asked me to pay $110 via Venmo. After making the payment, they failed to deliver the tickets and later sent fake screenshots claiming they had refunded my money. The refund never appeared in my account, and it became clear that this was a scam. What’s worse is that this scam appears to be facilitated by the app itself: 1. The email and in-app notifications came directly from All Events' official communication channels, making it seem trustworthy. 2. The app allowed scammers to exploit users by falsely marking events as "sold out" and redirecting them to fraudulent contacts. This is completely unacceptable for a platform that claims to provide secure event management services. It is their responsibility to ensure that users are not exposed to such fraudulent activities through their app or official communications! I strongly urge All Events to investigate this matter, take responsibility, and implement safeguards to prevent such scams in the future.All Events has lost my trust entirely.

I’m fairly new to this app, and I’ve already started doing more! I’m going to a comedy show right here in Quincy tonight with my husband and our grandson. I’m a stand up lover, but I usually have to go to the city of Boston for a good laugh. Not anymore! Thanks to Steve Sweeny for bringing a comedy competition to the South Shore, this will be the third show I’ve seen in Quincy, and I’ve booked tickets for the August third show as well! Thanks Steve!
