When I attempt to view many web pages a banner for News Press is placed over the top part on the page I want to view. There is an "x" on the news press banner but it does not get rid of the annoying and unwanted banner

Love the app, and love the News-Press for publishing hard-hitting news and enterprise journalism for a local audience. I only wish you would respect readers’ request to opt out of different news alerts. I have Sports Alerts turned off for a reason. I don’t want to know about sports updates. It’s different when it’s a huge breaking news story, but listicles and other things of the like (i.e. “Top things to watch at Florida v bla bla”) shouldn’t be pushed to readers via notifications who specifically opted out of that in their settings (namely, me, and others in my situation). You gave us the option, so thank you, but please stick to it and be mindful when crafting the push alerts. Thanks again for all your hard work.

App seems to work well and is quick and responsive. Sometimes I end up opening an article when I am trying to move to next page, but otherwise works well. Ads that must be closed at beginning of each section are slightly annoying, but can be closed quickly.
