The latest update brings the ability to see your points without having to login on a separate screen, which is great. There’s also a cool section to see the nutritional breakdown of the food, but it’s a PDF with multiple pages. I’d love it if there were a calculator in that section of the app, where you can build your sandwich and the app gives you the nutritional breakdown. For someone who tracks their macros on MyFitnessPal, this PDF doesn’t give me the information I need to plug in my food to MFP (like what “double meat” will add to my protein and fat or what whole wheat bread will add to my carbs and fiber; there’s no nutrition breakdown for double meat and the sandwich breakdowns are for white bread in the PDF). Until they come out with this feature (which other major chains like Pita Pit and Pizza Hut have already implemented), this app will remain at 4 stars for me.

Man do I hate this app. There are so many things I can’t stand but here’s my absolute biggest pet peeve: I can never reorder a previous order. As a family of 5, it would be great to just reorder a previous order but the app makes it impossible, even if you store one as a favorite. This last time, I couldn’t reorder a previous order because the chips we selected were not available. So what? At least let me add all our sandwich orders to my cart and I can pick a new bag of chips. But can I do that? Nope. I have to start a new order and input all 5 of our orders using the absolute worst UI I’ve seen on a mobile app ever. I’ve had times where I don’t want to do this so I take my business to someone else. Yes, this app is costing Which Wich business because it’s so terrible. Oh! A previous time I couldn’t reorder a previous order because they updated the app and added a new field you have to select to order to the app. Could I update our previous order with that new field selected? Ha. Nope. I had to re-enter our entire families order from scratch, again. So incredibly frustrating that the app developers don’t care about the actual customers.

I was perturbed when the local WhichWich - which I frequent regularly - told me that instead of giving my phone number, I now had to download the app AND scan my receipts to earn rewards points. But I got over that. Except - when I tried to scan the receipt, I received an error that stated I was not "within range" of a WhichWich location, and my efforts to manually enter the barcode (the alternative option) also failed with the same error - not to mention that the app would only permit me to enter about half the number of digits actually listed below the barcode. I was further surprised when I was sitting in the WhichWich, and still got the error stating that my receipt could not be submitted because I was not within range of a store location. Three emails - over two weeks - to customer support (ironically identified as "LoyaltyHelp") have yet to yield a response. Yeah, it's a choice to participate in the rewards program, but it's also a choice to be a customer of WhichWich...which I soon may stop being.

The food and the customer service is five stars. The ease of use of the app is annoying at times. Can’t figure out how to leave notes or special requests or ordering a side of ranch or adding something to the sandwich that isn’t already on the sandwich. Or if I order some chips I don’t want original I want harvest cheddar or salsa flavored but no option and no place to leave notes or special requests so I either have to make the change in a busy hectic restaurant at lunch or just not order Which Wich that day and go somewhere else instead. I know it’s the thing that Which Wich does making your own sandwich bag tag but that’s annoying I’d rather just order the food at the counter and not make a bag myself
