This simple feature not only helps me stay consistent but also notifies my husband when I’ve taken them, no more asking or uncertainty.Another standout feature is the location tracking. In today’s world, safety is a concern for everyone, but it’s especially crucial for those of us with cognitive challenges. I always encourage others in my situation to share their location with someone they trust.Looking ahead, I’m also comforted by the safe zones feature. When my cognition declines further, alerts will let my family know if I’ve wandered beyond designated areas, allowing me to remain safely at home for as long as possible.The developers of ellicares are continuously working to improve the app, adding features like news, tips, and insights, all easily accessible and user-friendly on my phone.I wholeheartedly recommend ellicares to anyone living with dementia or caring for a loved one with this condition. Love the concept of this app, however the mechanics of the app are so undeveloped and it’s extremely difficult to interface with especially when communicating to family members of a certain age to set up an account. Wish there was the ability for multiple family members to track our loved ones. Will delete my account (if it will event let me) and hope that the developers make some progress for the app’s future.
