The Eaton Remote Monitoring app, part of the Brightlayer software suites and enabled by the Brightlayer platform, monitors select Eaton network-connected uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs) plus an expanding family of connected Eaton components. The app notifies you via alarms and events (email and SMS) when the status of a monitored Eaton UPS or connected component changes to enable the continuous operation of your power infrastructure whether in a Data Center, part of an integrated machine or on the plant floor. The Remote Monitoring app can scale to meet your needs—whether you have hundreds to thousands of UPSs installed across tens to hundreds of locations or whether you are an OEM monitoring machines shipped across regions or around the world.

This could be a really great app, but it suffers from many many bugs. It will never save your credentials for logging in so you have to do that every single time, probably has maybe a five or 10 minute time out. Even when you check, save credentials, it won’t. It used to let me add new UPS with the QR but now it won’t scan it ever. NFC, joke never has worked. On my iPhone 17 Pro Max it’s doesn’t adjust the focus when adding QR so it’s blurry, and is unable to scan them. I really wish they would get their head around these bugs because it’s so close to being something worthwhile.

Can’t configure basic network info on the web client and now the app doesn’t work. UPS basically useless. Needs regular snmp capable network card to self host

Remote Monitoring 3.2.0 provides the following updates: License Activation via License Key Enables end-user “self-service” to set-up a new system or one that already has an active subscription. Supported end-user roles include: Realm Administrator and Organization Administrator. Minor enhancements to the UI/UX have also been made to enhance the user experience
