Overall I like the app, it works well and shows you what you need to do. A couple of improvements could be made though.1. Allow me to play music while my exercise is going. Really boring to sit in silence and do my stretches. Find myself focusing on the pain rather than getting distracted by music or a podcast.2. Allow me to select an exercise to do, even if it’s out of order. Sometimes I’ll do an exercise without the app and want to mark that one as done, but you can’t get to it unless you’ve done the exercises before it.
Not functional at all
Lady Ivey
The PT chain I am currently going to for rehab recently switched to this app. It’s a huge downgrade from what they were using. 1. You do not have the option to rate pain levels for each exercise like the last app they had me use, they only ask you a general question of “how are you feeling today?”, which has absolutely no bearing on what you experience with each exercise! Some are more painful than others. 2. The example videos are painfully long. I dont know if I am supposed to watch the video to confirm I did the exercise, but the video for 20 reps of heel raises was nearly 3 minutes! I understand everyone has different levels of agility, and some might take longer, but why do you need to show me an example of a painfully basic exercise that is so long? It makes no sense. 3. Once you say you completed the exercises, you cannot see them again until the next day! There’s no way to go back and access any of it, not even the general “how are you today?” Just really poorly designed and clearly doesn’t place the patients individual experience as a priority. Whoever designed this needs to start over
Inaccessible with VoiceOver
Blossom1954
My physical therapy provider asked me to download and use this app, so I tried to sign up. I cannot say anything about the accessibility of the videos, for example, whether they contain enough description of the exercise exercises. I was able to create a login and password, but I could not sign the legal agreements. I have written to them several times in the past couple of days and sent them a screenshot. Their answer was that if I didn’t check the boxes, I would not be able to sign in. They do not see that they have a role in this. There are two check boxes which need to be checked. The first does not say in VoiceOver that it is a checkbox. It only announces that it is a link that will go out to Safari. I can check that box, but the problem is that VoiceOver does not announce that it is checked. The second box can be read by voiceover, but I am unable to actually check it. I can look at it all day long, but I cannot check it. I need the company to fix this so I can access this app.
The unbeliever
I’ve seen the light
I would very much like to thank Brooke and Samantha for their patience and care. I came into physical therapy believing it was nothing but another hoop I had to jump through to satisfy insurance. I was very open about my skepticism of physical therapy. Brooke listened and talked with me about what she thought would be best and we went on from there. within a couple of visits, I realized the value of what she and Samantha were doing for me. I now understand that physical therapy will help me strengthen the muscles in my back and that will give me much more support and protection. I am truly grateful for the benefits that I have received working with these two women. I have been very open with both of them about what I’ve learned from them and how I now understand physical therapy. I truly appreciate their expertise and skill.
