Apple Watch distance wrong after a treadmill run? Enter the actual distance, recalculate pace and splits, and save a corrected copy. 3 free fixes. No subscription. Apple Watch and treadmill distances do not always match. Fix My Treadmill corrects a saved Indoor Run or Indoor Walk workout using the actual treadmill distance and saves a corrected copy to Apple Health. If the treadmill says 5.0 km but Apple Watch logs 4.6 km, enter the actual treadmill distance and save a corrected copy to Apple Health. How it works: 1. Select an existing Indoor Run or Indoor Walk from Apple Health. 2. Enter the distance shown on the treadmill. 3. Review the corrected distance and derived pace, then choose how splits should be recalculated. 4. Save a new corrected copy to Apple Health. Your original workout is not edited. Remove it separately in Fitness if you want only the corrected copy in your history. Compatible sensor metrics, such as heart rate and cadence, are preserved when HealthKit permits. Some metrics cannot be written back by third-party apps. This does exactly what you need. Apple doesn’t allow you to calibrate a treadmill run afterwards like Garmin does to match the treadmill distance. Although Apple should really offer this natively they don’t so this app solves the problem perfectly.

Saving a corrected copy is now more reliable for workouts with laps or intervals. Split-timing issues are repaired automatically while preserving the workout’s activity structure.
