I made $50 in the first week! The headset didn’t have instructions & I didn’t think it would fit at first, but you’re able adjust it & eventually get it to fit correctly. It is kind of annoying how they want you to have both hands visible at times especially when you’re flipping laundry inside out & the hand isn’t visible or turning a plant upside down & a hand is hidden, but it didn’t go against me either way. App works great! Also.. if we aren’t the ones doing it, someone else will to eventually replace us, so might as well be the one getting paid to teach the beast system as it is. One day we will all be gone anyways. It is what it is.

It’s constantly telling me my hands aren’t in view when they are. I’ll do task for like 20 minutes and even though I started recording it stops and I’ll have done a whole 20 minute task for nothing. The head mount is extremely uncomfortable. You constantly have to hold your head facing your hands and the weight and pressure on your head from the straps gives you headaches. Depending on the task , you usually have to adjust the head mount. Sometime you have to adjust it multiple times for one task. The head mounts aren’t free so you have to do work to get one. The ai hand guides voice is so annoying and very repetitive. Because of the need for my hands to be in front of the camera I don’t have full range of motion which makes tasks much much harder. I can only do 20 minutes of work at a time even though the task says 20$/h so you get 5$ the most for each task, but most task don’t take that long so you only usually get I little more or a little less than a dollar. And then it takes hours for DoorDash to review footage and get you the money, and once again it’s very little money and the work is much harder to do with head mount. Not worth the time or the money.

Firstly, there are some things no robots existing any time soon can perfectly the way a human can. And I have more skills than hiking and cleaning, so I’m not worried about this app “stealing” my job. It’s an easy way to make extra money doing something you should already be doing for free. It says it will review within 24 hours - and for the most part, it’s true. I’ve gotten paid what I’m owed on approved tasks. Some tasks are taking two or three days for review though.

Avoid this app. I have had tasks that were under review just disappear. Not in my rejected section or anything, just gone. There’s also no explanation about the head set that they’re supposed to send, they just say they will send one to you without any other communication. I never received one so I had to make my own. Also the pay is not worth it at all. DoorDash just spat out a garbage app without any care or concern.4/2/26 Update: This week I was working for the 30 approved min of video tasks challenge for $35 and today’s app update changed it to $15 now that I’m just waiting on approval for the 30 min of already completed tasks. But at least the updated app asked for my address to deliver the head mount I’m not going to use now 🙃 Don’t mess with this app.
