Back up & restore your data, track PT exercises, and build your run plan in the new Run tab — with an AI coach that adjusts weekly as you heal. Stride — Return to Running, One Smart Step at a Time Coming back from knee surgery or injury is confusing. Push too hard and you risk setback. Hold back too much and you lose fitness for nothing. Stride takes the guesswork out of your comeback by combining a run/walk interval trainer, PT exercise tracking, a daily knee journal, and an AI coach that actually looks at your data. RUN/WALK INTERVAL TRAINER Follow a structured run/walk program built for return-to-run recovery, starting with the 8-Week Comeback plan or a custom schedule you design — set it up whenever you're ready, right from the Run tab. Audio and haptic cues call out every interval switch — eyes on the road, not your phone. PT EXERCISE TRACKING Log the strength and mobility exercises your PT actually prescribed, grouped into workouts with weekly targets. See at a glance whether you're keeping up, and your compliance feeds straight into your AI coaching and PT reports — no separate spreadsheet required. DAILY KNEE JOURNAL Log a quick knee check-in each morning, after runs, and in the evening. Rate your pain, tag symptoms like swelling or stiffness, and add notes. It takes fifteen seconds and builds a real record of how your knee responds to training — not just how you remember it. AI-POWERED WEEKLY COACH Once a week, Stride correlates your knee journal, PT exercise compliance, and training load and gives you a clear call: PROGRESS, REPEAT, or PULL BACK — plus the reasoning behind it and any red flags worth mentioning to your PT. No more guessing whether that twinge means "keep going" or "back off." BUILT FOR YOUR PT, NOT INSTEAD OF THEM Generate a PT-ready report summarizing your check-ins, training load, exercise compliance, and trends over any date range — hand it to your physical therapist or surgeon so your next appointment starts with data, not "it's been fine, mostly." YOUR DATA, BACKED UP Export a full backup of your data anytime and restore it whenever you need to — switching phones, reinstalling, or just sleeping easier knowing your recovery history isn't one lost device away from gone. YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE Stride is local-first. Your knee scores, symptoms, and training history live on your device. The only things that ever leave your phone are the anonymized data needed to generate your weekly AI recommendation, and a backup file when you choose to export one. WHY STRIDE - Purpose-built for the return-to-running phase after knee injury or surgery - Turns vague soreness into a trackable trend - Removes the anxiety of "am I doing too much?" - Works with your PT's plan, doesn't replace it - Your recovery data stays yours — backed up on your terms, never in the cloud Stride Pro is an auto-renewing subscription available in Monthly ($4.99/month) and Yearly ($39.99/year) options. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. New features - Data backup & restore — a new "Data" section in Settings lets you export all your local data to a file and restore it anytime. - Home Exercise Program (HEP) tracking — a new Exercises tab for logging PT/strength exercises, grouped into weekly workouts, now factored into your weekly AI analysis and PT reports. - 5-minute warmup phase added to workouts. Redesigned - The Programs tab is now "Run" — choose your Standard or AI-Personalized plan right there instead of during signup; onboarding is now just profile questions. - Home and Workout are now one tab — Home takes over full-screen during an active workout (5 tabs total instead of 6). - PT reports can now be opened and read in full in the app, not just shared out. - Clearer PT report language: durations no longer cite raw seconds, and "Areas to Discuss" is now "Takeaways." Fixed - Workout timer and voice cues now keep running through screen lock. - Duplicate post-run reminder notifications. - A navigation bug that showed the raw route name (tabs) on the back button. - A subscription/entitlement recognition bug affecting some Pro users. Policy change worth noting - PT report generation now requires Stride Pro (previously 2 free reports were allowed) — consistent with how weekly AI analysis and AI plan generation already worked. Already-generated reports remain viewable either way.
