A new look • Day is the beach and night is the forest: sand by day, deep woods by night, with the launch screen and status bar to match. • Today leads with your next stop as a card with the pet's face. The rest of the day is one-line rows you can tap open. • Away from Today, the header says where you're going next. • The header is the sky and the tab bar is ink, by day and by night. Errands • Book a meet & greet, a key pickup or drop-off, or any other errand from the book sheet. Errands sit on Today and Calendar with your visits and remind you like one, but never count as a visit. • Key pickups and drop-offs show the door code, tap to copy. An errand for someone new can call or text them. • Closing a changed errand asks first, and a cancelled errand has Undo. Booking • Type a booking in the client field, like "Dash tomorrow at 1" or "Bella Nov 12 at 3", and the sheet fills itself in. One sentence can book several visits. • The book button says what it books, and a sit's price reads as a night's. • Booking requests warn only about a real clash. Visits • Running late? Tap the Late pill to text the owner. • A visit an hour late logs at its booked time, and Start has an Undo. • Move a care task for today without changing the plan, and log an extra dose from the visit sheet. Calendar • Review settles every visit nobody logged in one list, with one Undo. • A visit that didn't happen stays on its day, crossed out, with Restore. Report cards • The editor opens on its fields, with Note, Photos, Potty and Care as tabs. • Tap a photo to zoom and crop it. Arfer tells you when it will look blurry. • Extra doses show on the card, and saved images match the card you see. Vaccinations • A vaccine that runs out before a booking ends shows a note, with a text to the owner ready to send. • Renew a record instead of adding a new one, and Next due can't come before Date given. Money • Invoices bill what Books says is owed, and a client's profile has an Invoice button. Settings • Rates opens on a summary of your prices, with Edit rates. Backups • A backup holds your whole account, and a restore asks first. Getting started • Setup is one row under today's visits, and your first client leads straight to their first visit. Plus a smaller download, softer camera sounds that play on silent, a tap you can feel when a visit is done, a card is sent or you get paid, and VoiceOver and keyboard fixes across the app.

Walks • Walk miles are accurate. Arfer ignores GPS drift while you stand still, and on iPhone a walk adds distance only with counted steps (it asks for Motion & Fitness once). • Your walk keeps its miles even with report cards turned off. • Miles or kilometers: pick yours in Settings. Team sitters pick their own. • A walk still going at midnight stays on today's agenda until you finish it. Visits • Today's visit opens on the door: the code, each pet's warning, keys and access, the doses due on this visit, and who to call. • Start and Finish a visit right from its sheet. • A client can now have a behavior warning for each pet, a keys-and-access note, and an emergency contact. • On a pet's birthday, Chester turns up on the agenda in his party hat. Report cards • Tap any part of the card to change it. The card is the editor. • Take photo opens Arfer's camera. A zoomed photo sends the part you framed. • Monthly recaps read as a letter from you. Money • Got paid records how they paid, tips included. Forgive a balance in one tap, or fix a visit's price. • Payment methods match your country. Clients • A client's page reads at the door, with each pet's care on one line and bigger pet photos. • A pet who died can be marked Passed away. Booking page • See your booking page before it goes live. Links • Links to report cards, recaps, reviews, rebooking, booking confirmations and team invites open in Arfer. Getting started • The prices you enter while setting up are kept. Sign-up • Your iPhone offers to save the password when you create an account. Plus one look across the app, bigger tap targets, and VoiceOver can start a visit.

Clients • A client's profile opens on what you need at the door: address, door code, Call and Text, house notes, meds and feeding. • Editing a client with no signal no longer wipes their details. Visits • Running late? Long-press a visit to text the owner you're 5, 10 or 15 minutes behind. • The agenda flags past visits you never started, and your next stop has a Directions button. • Recurring bookings keep their arrival window on every visit, and the button says how many visits it books. • Tapping Start Visit or Check In on a walk's reminder now opens Arfer and starts GPS, so the walk records its route. On a locked phone, iOS asks you to unlock first. • Start a second walk while one is recording and the first walk keeps its route. Arfer tells you which walk is recording; the second walk has no GPS. Report cards • See the card before it sends. Shared cards scroll on phones and carry your letterhead. Money • Books opens on who owes you. Stats opens on the month: what you kept, what's booked, who owes you. • Expenses: step through months and tap an expense to edit it. The tax file includes expenses and mileage. • Mark paid works from Recent invoices, and invoice numbers can't repeat. Settings • Your plan sits at the top, tabs are named by what you came to change, and closing with unsaved edits asks first. Plus bigger tap targets, better contrast and clearer VoiceOver labels throughout.

- Prices now show in your own currency throughout the app: rates, totals, finance, invoices and texts. More countries are available in Settings, including every euro country, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Sweden and Switzerland. - The upgrade screen shows the App Store's price for your country. - Cancelling a repeating visit asks right away: this visit, this and future ones, all of them, or just the dates you choose. - Long-press a visit for a menu with a label on every action, plus "Running late" (a ready-to-send text to the owner) and "Move to another day". - "Take a photo" and "Mark complete" buttons on the visit itself. - Longer pet and owner names fit in the visit header. - Booking requests, and the texts and emails you send about them, show dates like "Thu, Oct 8" instead of "2026-10-08". - Finance and your other owner tools stay available when you open the app without signal. - Updated Terms and Privacy Policy.

Two things sitters asked for. Vaccination records Keep each pet's vaccinations in Arfer: what they had, when it was given, and when it's next due. Quick-add buttons cover the usual ones for dogs and cats, or type your own. A pet's card shows at a glance if anything has lapsed, and opening a client warns you about anything expired or due in the next 30 days. If you board, that means knowing who needs to send an updated copy before their next stay instead of digging through paper files. Prices in your own currency Set your country in Settings, under Defaults, and money shows in your currency instead of dollars: your rates, your finance pages, your invoices, and the prices pet parents see on your booking page. UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand so far. Both came from sitters who wrote in. If something is missing for the way you work, tell me.

Mark a visit complete without running the timer. If you forgot to hit start, or you just don't need the stopwatch, you can close out a visit in one tap. Invoicing is more accurate. Invoices now bill only what's actually owed, multi-night sits count correctly, and unpaid work carries forward instead of going missing. Your saved arfer.app password is now offered when you sign in, so you don't have to type it from memory. Address confirmation links for multi-night sits expire when they should. Some clients were previously locked out before the visit, or kept access long after it. Plus reliability fixes, including the app getting stuck after an update.
