A list can now be yours alone, or shared with one person without opening the whole house to them. WHO SEES WHAT Any list your household shares can be made private. Everyone else stops seeing it, and anyone you had already sent it directly keeps it. If a list stops being shared with you, you are told. If a household drops you, your phone says so the moment it knows. Already in a household and sent a code? Enter it from the People tab, right beside Invite someone. Pasting the whole invite link works too. WHILE YOU SHOP Open the app after hours away and whatever your household added in the meantime is already there. No relaunch needed. "Sonia got this yesterday" appears under anything somebody already bought on another list, so nobody buys it twice. Typing something that is already on this list, in your cart, or on another list says so in a strip you cannot miss, before you add it. A line draws across an item as you tick it off. A list somebody else creates shows up on its own. ACCESSIBILITY VoiceOver now reads the "got this today" line under an item and says "in your cart" when you tick one. Neither was read before. THE SMALL STUFF Every food in the catalogue has a photograph. Sign in, the first Essentials add and the New list sheet all work with the keyboard up. The sign in button used to hide behind the keyboard. Text fields no longer show dark bars at their edges. Rename on an item is a bigger target and no longer ticks the item by mistake. Notification switches stay the way you set them. Send feedback from Settings comes straight to us.

Send your list to anyone and they see it straight away. No app, no account, no sign-up wall. This one is all about shopping together, plus a good tidy-up of the small stuff that was getting in the way. SHARING, THE EASY WAY There is a new person-plus button on every list. Tap it and pick how you want to share. "Ask if anyone needs anything" is the one to try. It sends your list along with a friendly note and a few of the things already on it, so whoever gets it can see what you are buying and just tell you what else they need. No app, no account, nothing to sign up for. They open the link and there it is. Want someone properly on the list, adding and ticking things off? Invite someone now sits right at the top, where you would look for it. ADDING THINGS, FASTER The add box now has its own dark strip along the bottom of the screen, so it is obvious where you type. Your suggestions turned into little pills with pictures, sitting just above the keyboard. Tap one and it is on the list. They take up a third of the room they used to, so you can still see what you are adding to. And tapping the add box no longer makes the whole page lurch and zoom. NOTHING GOES MISSING If something cannot be saved, BreadRun tells you, down at the bottom where your thumb already is, and the message waits for you rather than vanishing. Two of you editing the same list at the same time now get along. Your lists stay yours, even when you sign in on a patchy connection. THE TIDY-UP Ticked-off items now sit in the order you actually picked them up, newest on top, instead of shuffling about. Essentials has a back button that works. You can leave a household now, and if someone takes you out of one, you will hear about it. breadrun.app has a proper front page at last, and a shared list carries a link to get the app. That is the lot. There is a Send feedback button in Settings and it comes straight to us, so if something feels off, tell us.

You can now see everyone who has a list, leave one you were invited to, and invite back someone you removed. None of it was possible before. SHARING Tap Share on a list to see everyone who can open it, whether an invite link is live, and when it expires. Someone you removed can be invited back. There is a "Previously removed" section on the share sheet with an Invite again button next to each name. Before this, removing was permanent with no way to undo it, and nothing told you that. Inviting someone back lets them join with your link once. It does not put them back on its own, and removing them again cancels it. A list somebody else is on now says how many of you are shopping together. It used to say "just you" even after they joined. Anyone who has not set a name is shown by their email address, so two people are never the same row. Remove takes someone off right away, and now names who you are removing before you confirm it. Leave a list you were invited to, or leave a household, from the same place. Leaving and being removed are different: if you leave, the same link lets you back in until it expires. If someone removes you, it does not, until they invite you back. INVITES Accepting an invite now opens the list you accepted. It used to drop you back on your list of lists. An invite link shows who sent it, what the list is called, and what joining lets you do, before you decide. Decline an invite and it remembers, with a way back in if you change your mind. An invite link that has been reset now says so, instead of showing a code that cannot work. WHEN SOMETHING CHANGES Get told when someone accepts a link you shared, and when someone leaves. The "Items added" switch in Settings now works. It never did. Four notification switches instead of two, and every one of them controls something real. WHEN A LIST GOES AWAY If a list stops being shared with you, the app says so and says why. It used to just disappear, which looked the same as a bug. If you left it yourself, it says you left, and that the link will let you back in. Deleting a list offers to archive it instead, and says that guests lose it too. SIGNING IN ON A NEW PHONE Your name and initial appear right away. You no longer arrive as a stranger. LOOK AND FEEL The sign-in screen and the screen after you join a list now show both characters. Both screens are about sharing with someone, and one character can only ever be you. TIPS The hint cards now have one button, and tapping it makes them stay gone. The sale price hint kept coming back. VOICEOVER Remove, Leave and Invite again all say what they will do before you confirm them. The sharing sheet and its confirmations are now reachable. They were invisible to VoiceOver while open.

Ticking an item off now actually feels like ticking something off. Taps have real weight, and ticking, switching and deleting each feel different from one another. FEEL The launch animation has room to breathe, and any tap or key press skips it. The keyboard skip genuinely did nothing before this release, which mattered most for anyone using a keyboard or switch control. SHOPPING LIST Holding an item now clearly offers Quantity as its own button, instead of looking like it was asking you to delete something. Items we do not recognise show the first letter of their name, so a list of five unfamiliar things no longer looks like five identical boxes. The Other aisle no longer wears a warning symbol. Nothing was ever wrong; it just looked that way. A list with no shop named now reads properly instead of putting a placeholder in the middle of a sentence. HOME Your initials no longer sit on top of the bread character. The list you actually have is the clearest thing on the screen again. PANTRY The staples you pick when you first set up BreadRun now actually fill your Pantry. They only ever went to your first list before, which left the Pantry empty for everyone. Every fix here came from using BreadRun on a real phone and looking hard at what was on screen. Free, no ads, no subscription, and nobody selling what you buy.
