Everytime we try to pay for our order on your app it will not allow us to use our debit cards. I have your app and so does my husband. We both have not been able to pay with our debit cards. We are forced to use a credit card for payment. Other than that we love your app and the ease of ordering our food. Please repair the issue so in the future we can use our debit cards for payment.Received an email from Firehouse Subs Restaurant Group to provide more information. Huh??? How much more information do you need? Our debit cards will not process for a payment on your app!! We have no options but to use our credit cards. Not sure what you are asking. Contact me directly through my email and not through Apple!!

JULY 2023: newly upgraded app no longer shows any of my reward points. Going to the FAQs, the link provided to request reward points transfer is no longer functional. Total rip off! You people should be ashamed of yourselves! That is theft! Maybe that’s why all your locations here in San Diego have closed in recent years except for one remaining one. And it’s probably hanging on by a thread, too. I was just there earlier tonight ordering a sandwich and gave the cashier my phone number to punch in for the rewards points. She did all that and said the points were added to my account. I knew she was lying. That’s when I opened the app and saw that it had been completely updated and there is no longer any access to my former rewards account. They do provide links in the app to reactivate your account or reclaim your previous rewards points, but all those links are dead links and don’t go anywhere. Thieves! There used to be six or seven Firehouse Subs restaurants here in San Diego. Now they are down to one. Yes, you read that right! One location! This probably explains why their app has gone downhill and is no longer functional at all. I hope my thousands of reward points are still intact, or I smell a class-action lawsuit coming. Tired of continually being technologically ripped-off by these apps and companies. I’ve had it! I guess when the last remaining restaurant here in San Diego goes under and gets demolished, that’ll be it. You all might laugh and complain about Subway and their fake tuna and yoga mat-infused bread, but they’re still here 35 years later and going strong!

I have always had issues with this app glitching. The current glitch i’m dealing with is that the gluten free bread option has completely disappeared from the menu, so i have to scroll back thru my recent orders and reorder the same sub over and over again that already had the gluten free roll previously applied to it. i can no longer redeem my loyalty rewards without purchasing something else so i have to spend $3 on a drink when i’m supposed to be getting a free sub for being a loyal and frequently recurring customer. On top of that, it doesn’t add the price for the gluten free roll until after you click check out so the $3 i’m spending on that doesn’t count when redeeming the reward. I have to spend $6 just to redeem my FREE sub? They’re also updating the loyalty rewards soon to make it cost even more points to redeem your rewards, when I already have to spend SO much money in order to get the only reward I can claim (the medium sub reward because gluten free rolls only come in one size). A tiny peeve I have is when you go to customize a sub, it doesn’t mark off what already comes on that sub, so you end up scrolling back and forth between the sub description and the customization menu. I absolutely adore the staff at my location with everything in my heart, they are the kindest souls ever and have always put forth an effort to help me when it comes to the app bugging out. I’ve tried all the firehouse locations in my city and the one I frequent hands down makes the best subs out of all of them. the restaurant is great, the app needs some work. I’m dreading September 13th as that is when the required loyalty rewards points to redeem your coupons increases :(

The app only allows 4 veggies to be added on a 16 dollar sub? Are you serious? You firemen must think this is a joke. I am not paying full price for a sub ( that is good ) but only get 4 veggies are you folks that cheap? I’m paying you for a sub and you only give 4 veggies? That’s like ordering a pizza and being told on the app “only four toppings”. Sir, I’m paying for the food. I’ll just go there in person next time but you’re losing money because I wanted to order on the app.Do NOT try to say some excuse like “we want it to be easier for the workers”. I’ve seen the job it’s a normal job, they are not rushing around in any firehouse Ive ever seen and they get paid decent money. This means you can afford to give me more than 4 toppings when I’m ordering a sub om your app!! Ridiculous you folks must think this is a joke! It’s not. Give people the amount of toppings they want for a sub THEY ARE PAYING FOR. Do NOT limit veggie options just because you want to save a buck. Disgusting behavior on your app. Treat your customers right and maybe they’ll want to buy a sub on the app. Until then I will NOT be ordering on your app sincr you can not respect the customers customization options.
