Was an easy to navigate app, with everything needed. Update provides new graphics, which get in way of use but provides more advertising space, slows down use, and I want the old app back! I don’t want to be a forecaster, just a user who needs details in a hurry!

I used this all the time as I travel a ways for work. Then last year they did this update and it was terrible! I tried getting use to it but I just used different app for rest of winter season last year. As the winter season approaches this year I downloaded again hoping that they made changes to the app thinking I couldn’t be the only one who hated this update and hoping they’d listen and revamp the app. Looks like I’m using a different app again this season. I downloaded Channel 2 weather app and that app seems to be like what Channel 4’s used to be. If you are thinking about using this app then I hope you only need to know about weather as it is happening because that is all this app seems to show….weather for an hour.

I used to love this app as it was one of the most accurate forecasting locally. Everything was easy to find and right at your fingertips… this new “modern” layout they released today is horrible! Can’t tell what’s an ad and what’s part of the app. Locating the features your looking for is difficult now and no longer right there when app loads. Deleting this one and downloading channel 2 weather app because they have the page layout channel 4 used to have! Also, I’ve never felt the need to write a review before but this update is frustrating and kind of upsetting. 😞

I’ve never written a review before. This was my go to for weather. It was easy to navigate and find the info I was looking for. The recent update is horrible. It’s hard to locate the info I want now. Seems there’s a bunch of ads on the app now so much so that I often can’t tell what’s an ad and what’s an actual part of the app content. And the presentation of the info is such that I can’t find what I want anymore. Visually it’s extremely unappealing and it’s way to busy. Disappointed and will be deleting the app and finding a better one.
