Salto JustIN Mobile access technology simplifies the users and dynamic key management process of users in a building. Receiving a key generated electronically on their smartphone, previously identified and authorized by the system, they can unlock the assigned doors from the JustIN Mobile app by selecting the appropriate key.
Technologically cutting-edge, JustIN Mobile means the end of lost key hassles, expenses and waste. Plus, the technology isn't limited to one building or hotel room - it can also be used by staff and users on multiple sites for any kind of access types like main entrance doors, elevators, car park barriers, meeting rooms, etc.
Combined with user-convenient features such as user friendly design or multi key possibilities to use the same app in different buildings, locations and for different applications, JustIN Mobile access control technology simplifies card issuing, fob and traditional PIN code management that can be lost, forgotten or broken by offering flexibility for diverse applications. People do not forget their phones as they forget their keys and, if lost, they are replaced rapidly. This is a major benefit for administrators, clients, and users.

Great app - the widget feature makes this quite convenient with few taps necessary to get to the key. Two feature requests: 1) The ability to add a key to Apple a Wallet. 2)The ability to issue a key to a phone number that has not yet downloaded the app, so that when they do download the app and register, the key is there waiting for them. Edit: Salto has addressed request #2. This is great! Now I’m just waiting for the ability to add a key to Apple wallet, and I’ll be over the moon!

Unreliable

I just moved into a new building, and primarily use this app to get in to my unit. My key expired today and the app keeps giving an error message when I try to refresh it, even though I use it daily as per my building’s instructions. It keeps saying “There seems to be a problem with the connection, please try again.” I have tried via cellular network and wifi with the same results, but I know it’s not an issue with my device or networks because I am able to use other internet-reliant apps. I even tried restarting my phone, then resetting all network settings. I am using the most current version as of 9/21, and there are no updates available for the iOS app. I feel like a Karen with this review, but a residence key app should never have server connection issues. This is a major bug. I wouldn’t recommend any property owners/managers use this system until crucial issues like this get resolved, and I will be talking to my building’s management about alternatives.
Decent

Decent app, considering the limitations from Apple. I do wonder, is it possible to create a digital key in the “wallet” that would work both on the phone and the Apple Watch? This would be similar to how Apple is doing Express Transit or the newly announced digital car key. This would allow for even quicker access and would not have the issue where when I hold the phone up the the NFC device it opens the wallet anyways. Maybe an integration like Walgreens has where the app knows which “card” to scan first for their rewards program. I really would love Apple Watch support.
Great concept but unreliable

My condo uses these for entrances. Literally half the time the app does not find and connect to the Justin transmitter to unlock a door or open the garage. I can hold the phone six inches from the Justin device and the lock will not be found. After a few more attempts while holding the phone at same distance the lock will suddenly be detected and I can get in. If you are a building manager scouting for electronic locks I’d look at alternatives.
• Improved BLE unlocking reliability and performance.
