It also improves sync reliability, adds iPhone Duo support, and resolves a range of issues across the app. FEATURES • iCloud RSS: A new iCloud-backed RSS service that syncs feed subscriptions, folders, smart folders, and article read and starred statuses. RSS feeds remain the primary source for articles, so ReadKit does not upload RSS article content to iCloud. Instead, it syncs article read and starred statuses, improving sync speed and reducing network traffic. Starred RSS articles, including their content, are stored in iCloud while they remain starred; unsubscribing from a feed removes its associated starred articles from ReadKit and iCloud. Smart folder notification settings remain specific to each device. • iCloud Read Later: A new iCloud-backed Read Later service that syncs saved articles, read and starred statuses, tags, and smart folders across your devices. • Built-in Read Later: A new local Read Later service for saving articles directly in ReadKit, without syncing them. • Account and Smart Folder Export: Export account settings together with smart folders, and import them individually when needed. • Application Settings Export: Export and import preferences for appearance, reading, general behavior, and gestures.
