One of the most relevant settings was removed

Why was the option to halt notifications removed? On my days off I could halt notifications from the app for a duration of 8 hours or a whole day or a whole week so my phone stops blowing up from my work chat and now it’s not even available in settings anymore and my phone is going crazy it’s super inconvenient even when I log out of the app. Thanks guys 👎🏻 I don’t want to feel like I’m at work on my days off being that setting back please.

Hello! We have temporarily removed the DND feature and currently working on the new and enhanced version of DND which we recently released in web app. As a workaround; kindly use DND in the web version (it will be synced with mobile) or if you don’t want to receive notifications in mobile apps alone; kindly disable notifications under settings.

I use all zoho applications for my job and I love being able to use the apps on my phone as well, especially zoho Cliq. However recently I’m noticing it really needs to be fixed. The program slows my phone down entirely when it’s open, it also randomly crashes, and often has trouble keeping up with my pace of typing. Sometimes i press the backspace button and nothing happens. I have to close the entire application, then go back in and erase whatever text in the message i intended to erase. Please fix this immediately, it’s really becoming quite an inconvenience. I believe it may be zoho as a whole, as the Cliq application also crashes on my computer (windows) at times. Regardless it’s a great program if you can get it up to speed with 2020 technology and pacing.

Abusive Notifications

The developers never concede to any feedback regarding their inability to abide by their own notification settings and it is frankly quiet annoying. I have had issues with Cliq's notification settings and they are never willing to do anything about it. Example, I have it set to only send me a push notification on my phone only if there has been 10 minutes of inactivity on the desktop. I can responding to a message I just received and get a push notification. Fix your abusive notification settings and make them follow the rules you are telling the user.Edit: Simultaneous notifications should've never been an option for a messaging app. When users have multiple devices it is very disruptive when for one notification you'd get 2 to 3 times the notifications for every single message.

Hello Wary, the option which you have chosen is to notify you silently, this will just mute the sound. It doesn't mean that you will be notified only if you are inactive for 10 minutes over Cliq web/desktop app. Kindly be informed that you will be simultaneously receiving a silent notification for the messages which you receive when you are active over Cliq web/desktop app. When you are inactive over web/desktop app for 10 minutes, then you will receive a pop up notification along with sound.

I was strongly recommended this app by a friend to use for my startup tech company. I was very hesitant and reluctant as I had always used either Slack or Teams in the past. I was extremely surprised that I found that Cliq to be significantly nicer than Slack. It’s not as good as Teams obviously but it’s WAAAY less expensive which gives it the edge for me at least. Highly recommend.
