Still need more improvements

Used heritage bank for most of my life. And this app alone makes me want to change banks, it has only recently become a lot easier to use and aesthetically more pleasing to look at. How ever, when ever I choose to open the app, almost every day I am not prompted with Face ID LOGIN which is an option, only works 50/50 of the time, then you have to turn on the option again in the settings after using your password. This means it takes me 3 or more minutes to just check out my bank accounts which is tedious. Also would be nice to have the option to adjust scheduled transactions within the app.

Very Basic

I find the app is very very basic. I’ve been told that I should have to go onto the website to access more features but with modern day banking I shouldn’t have to.
Here are the biggest disappointments

1. Have to scroll though transactions to find my loan repayment figure (even on the website)
2. Cannot access statements through app
3. The switch/ linking function has its own flaws
A. It has to be done by the customer. The heritage staff cannot link it in their system for you.
B. You have to switch between members. All other banks I’ve banked with you can view them all on the main screen.
4. It’s not very aesthetically appealing someone told me on the call centre phone once heritage is a digital bank. It is most definitely not. It could learn a thing or two from any other banking app about aesthetic.
5. Cannot change pin on card through the app

Don’t even get me started on Apple Pay. But anytime you bring these up with the bank you get a very generic. “You’re feedback is important.... we will pass it on to the relevant team.... there are many things that need to be sorted in the background first... banked with Heritage for 5 years and been getting these generic responses The whole time.

App closes suddenly

This app used to work really well. I’ve tried updating it today before making this review but I’m already on the latest version. On pressing my account balance to see the transactions, the app closes suddenly. This happens on two out of three of my accounts. The other account opens successfully and shows the transaction list.

Hi, can you please try uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that fixes the issue, and also check your operating system is up to date too? In the meantime, please use the full version of internet banking available via heritage.com.au. You may also wish to add a shortcut to login page on your home screen device to make it easier to access.
