I was quite excited by the thought of this app, but i have cooled over the last few weeks.Placed an order on monday. today is thursday.I would have hoped for a response in at the most the second day.Not so. on enquiry at the pharmacy, it appeared that they had received a message, only it was all garbled. I would hope that there should have been enough information for someone to be able to contact me and ask what was the order.I see that one my previous scripts that has been completely filled, no repeats left, this is noted on the package that i have in hand, yet the online app tells me the script still has one repeat left.When I was going through the app on my phone with a pharmacist, it was obvious that they did not have enough knowledge on how the app works, and all it’s various options available.That really is why i head this with a comment about training.I must stress that I can’t fault the staff for not knowing how the app works if they hadn’t been trained.Now getting used to the app, and it’s getting to be more reliable for me and the way I like to use it.But I find that I am unable to alter my email address. Don’t know if this is integral in the logon procedure.But would like to be able to control it online.

Before my chemist was taken over by Priceline I used Medadvisor and it was great. Then came the Priceline app and it's been a nightmare. The app logs you off randomly, can't send messages and worst of all deletes your scripts randomly which means you have to contact your doctor to get another emergency script (in my case this was for anti epilepsy medications for my husband). You have to keep your own records and monitor it closely. I tried to go back to Medadvisor app but it opens up as Priceline. I've sent an email to Medadvisor asking how I can go back to their app, and also called Priceline head office about the risks this app poses for customers, especially those who are vulnerable and rely on the app to be accurate. At this point it's day 4 of trying to get a script reinstated. If I can't go back to Medadvisor I'll be taking my scripts home. This isn't an isolated incident. It's caused me more problems than if I just kept my scripts at home. It was great with Medadvisor, they were reliable. If you are using Medadvisor I'd advise you not to sign up for the Priceline app.

When trying to add a new script the photo freezes the app and after a few attempts the same thing keeps happening. Therefore new scripts need to be added manually by your store. Once added the app is very good at reordering your script. However, then you just contend with the store who does not really use the app for ordering! Sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t. Once I got a notification that it was ready after 1 hour, another time I got nothing and went into the store to ask and the order was just sitting there in the system - they hadn’t touched it. So it’s all a bit touch and go. I think if more people started using this app it would force stores to be better at managing it.

Generally, this app is OK. It gets the job done when re-ordering scripts, and my local chemist is very timely at getting them ready (usually in an hour or two). However, when taking a photo of a renewed script (zero repeats available) the app freezes. Every time. Without fail. App crashes & must be restarted. Who tests this thing? There is no workaround - you cannot pre-order and present the script at pick up. You just have to renew at the counter. This creates an opportunity to go elsewhere, which from the chemists perspective, I would have thought was against the whole purpose of this thing - to create branded stickiness. From my perspective, it’s really annoying.
