It works, it makes sense, but it's dismally bad design.

Anyone reading this review that just wants the app to do its job and then be done with it, you're likely going to be satisfied 🫡 On the other hand, if an app's design has even the slightest impact on your experience and impression of it, you're going to be disappointed 😔 I know a website contained in an app when I see one, and this is basically that. It'll tell you you're logged out and that you need to log back in at random times, just because it can. Closing the app and reopening it works, as though you're a genie with powers. There's no dark mode, and reading text makes you feel 14 years older than your actual age on account of it being just that little bit too small 🔍 At the end of the day, it does let you create and change bookings, and that's 90% of what it's designed to do - kudos for that... but I can't ignore that it does feel like a very lazy and little-thought-through effort and design for such an ubiquitous name in the ever-popular industry of car sharing in this modern day and age, and it does prompt one pertinent question: what other corners have been cut?
Terrible experience I first time hired GoGet car, don’t recommend!

My first time to hire a GoGet was a terrible experience! I booked a Kia hatch back small car but couldn’t find it, then called the service, they “helped” me to book another Yaris around, but the car had door issue! After called them again, they booked another SUV for me, but still shows a fine of $25 in monthly statement due to “not making a booking to use a car” for the previous one which with door issue! Fortunately, this fine would be refunded after I questioning my bill to them! If I didn’t ask, I would be charged anyway!I used the SUV for 3 hours with 9km, when I returned, the original parking place was occupied, so I called the service again and they gave me 30mins free to find a nearby place to park! I spent almost this 30mins to drive around and finally find a place to park. However, in the statement, it indicates that I driven 22km within this “free”30mins, which results in additional $9.8 fee! The fact is I only drive around the original parking place to find another parking spot ! Probably no more than 3km! It is impossible for me to drive 22km during that time!I asked evidence to show my driving route, they couldn’t provide that, instead just promised to send me a screenshot of odometer after 10-15 mins of my call! but how it would prove that the 22km was driven by me? And almost 20mins passed now, still not received their evidence to show that I drive 22km in 30mins!If anyone also using GoGet, please be careful with your monthly statement!

I have been using GoGet for about 2 years now. Spent a lot of money happily. Never had any complaints and have recommended many people to use it. Last night I had booked a vehicle for an entire day, which I have done countless times and never had an issue. However last night after picking up the vehicle my plans fell through. I returned the vehicle, couldn’t find a way to end the booking so I left the vehicle in the pod assuming that if inactive that would end the booking since there was no other way to end the booking. Today I jumped on the app to make sure the booking had ended only to find it was still active. Called customer support only to be told that I would still be charged an entire days booking even though I only used the car for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Considering there is no way to end a booking early, yet you can extend a booking, I think this is an absolute joke especially when booking times are over 30 minute increments and could easily just be charged for time used in those 30 minute blocks. On top of that the app constantly crashes and has issues loading. Never will I use this service again.
Poor customer service

My first and last time using Go Get! First time and very unfortunately we had what seems to be a stone hit the windshield causing a crack as we were 5/10 min out from returning the car. I reported this to them to ensure no other customers would be impacted or drive an unsafe car. I have received one email since my report stating I am liable, and as a result have to pay for repairs. There has been zero communication or customer support since. I have no idea about the fee, any proof of cost of repairs, and no report from them. Extremely poor customer service, as someone who was willing to report and cooperate I am frustrated being left in the dark and on edge not knowing if they are going to take any sort of sum out of my account without further communication. As someone who would have championed a brand after a first experience I am left disappointed, frustrated and saddened that they cannot think to put themselves in their customers shoes and understand how an accident like this can be very upsetting, anxiety inducing and that communication and transparency from them would always help.
