Ratings and Reviews
Often breaks - just shuts down when you open it
This used to be great, as I could check when the next tram was coming, where it currently was on the route and when it was predicted to arrive at every stop. You could type in the number of the tram you were on and it would bring up all the journey information.
However it now shuts down about 50% of the time when I open it, and this always seems to be in the morning when I need it most to find out when my tram to work is.
I have to use google to go to Yarra trams website and find the stop, which makes this app totally pointless.
Please fix the issues, this is a great app when it works.
Works mostly
Unlike many other reviewers, this app works well for me (I’m on an iPhone 7 with the latest iOS). Tram arrival times are accurate, although sometimes a tram will ‘disappear’. Also love the ability to track the tram you’re on. However, I can never update the disruptions notification service to my actual routes. Whenever I try, it says “could not save changes”. This feature would be really useful, if it worked. Would be awesome if it showed depot trams, as one of these is often all you need.
This app is useless
Does not give accurate times for tram arrivals. Refreshing the page gives you a different time each refresh so I have no idea when it’s actually supposed to arrive. Two trams in a row didn’t show up for my commute to work and Tram tracker gives me absolutely no information about this. I honestly don’t even know what the point of this app is. It’s broken, janky and prone to crashing. It can’t even perform the most basic functions. You’d get more accurate tram times if you took a picture of the timetable. This app is complete garbage.
