Schedule Inconsistencies
Dumbest tracking app ever.
Every time I leave my house to get to the closest tram stop, it will take me around 10 minutes.
Why are there trams that say they will arrive in the tram stop in 4 minutes, and that’s when I just about leave my house.
So out of those 10 minutes, it gets to the tram stop as soon as I come, so it’s always delayed by 6 minutes, therefore the teams after that are always delayed.
Not only that, but when a tram comes in 14 minutes right when I start to make my way, 2 minutes into the walk, it says the tram comes in 6 minutes. THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME. I have to rush to the tram stop but then at the last 5 minutes of my walk, the tram is stuck on, “coming in 1 minute”.
It’s impossible to know when trams are coming and departing.
Fix yo app PTV.
Never the correct time.
Maybe it’s because I live near the end of the line, but the time until next tram constantly displays as 4 minutes for an indefinite amount of time. It can even SLOWLY come down to 1 minute and then even ‘now’ with no tram ever showing up. Making this app completely useless.
If this is because I live near the end of the line and the times that are shown are the scheduled times, I don’t need a “tracker” for that. Is this app not checking where the trams actually are? We have the biggest tram network in the world, you’d think we could at least have a half decent app to go along with. Please solve this issue.
Works mostly
Unlike many other reviewers, this app works well for me (I’m on an iPhone 7 with the latest iOS). Tram arrival times are accurate, although sometimes a tram will ‘disappear’. Also love the ability to track the tram you’re on. However, I can never update the disruptions notification service to my actual routes. Whenever I try, it says “could not save changes”. This feature would be really useful, if it worked. Would be awesome if it showed depot trams, as one of these is often all you need.
