Terrible experience

I used menu log for the first and last time last night. Ordered at 5.09 pm and was advised through the app that the food would arrive at 5.36. It still has not arrived at 6pm so I called menu log only to be given the run around but eventually told my order would be delivered at 6.10pm. This time passed and still no delivery so I tried to contact menu log via chat. This was a complete waste of time! I was given conflicting and wrong information including that my order would be picked up at 6.14 when it had already passed that time. Instead of staying online and ensuring my order was delivered the consultant decided to end the chat (talk about poor customer service!) I called the restaurant directly at 6.30pm and they advised that the food was sitting there ready to be picked up (and cold by this point) but no one had arrived to collect it. The status of my order in the app then updated to ‘delivered’ even when I was on the phone to the restaurant who confirmed the food was still sitting there. I ended up cancelling my order and ordered something else via Deliveroo which arrived in less than 15 mins. The restaurant also told me that have contact issues with menu log. I received no offer of compensation from menu log despite the misinformation and poor service. I have now deleted the app.

Very bad app and delivery I DO NOT recommend

I was with my friend babysitting my younger sister and we decided that we wanted some food and when we asked her what food she said kfc and since I can’t drive yet we thought to order it of Menulog since we knew it delivered kfc. It was my first time using it but I didn’t expect to have many difficulties. The first problem is that it wouldn’t accept my card, and the second one is that it took 1 hour to get to my house even though the kfc is only a 15 minute drive from my house. Not only did it take long but they completely stuffed up my order, I ordered 3 popcorn chicken go buckets and the delivery guy only gave us 1. He was also being a little bit rude about the whole situation because when we asked him why there was only one he said “I don’t know it’s not really my job.” And then we had to go through multiple calls on Menulog and get transferred all for them to tell us that the items not received will be refunded. The woman on the phone said that $9.30 should be transferred to my card in 3-5 business days, and if that transfer is not made I will be extremely disappointed in this company. Overall I do not recommend this app if you want something quick and easy because you will most likely run into a few issues.

Wrong address

If I could rate 0 stars I would, I ordered food at 10:00 from McDonald’s and at 10:30 it said it had been delivered and no one came and it said that it was at a totally different address that doesn’t even look similar to my address i rang up menulog and I was on the phone for 24 minutes and still was on hold, it’s unbelievable how they don’t check where the actual address the order is meant to go, this is definitely my last time I’m using menulog can’t believe their service, my kids were starving and we couldn’t even get our dinner that night, that was a waste of $53 there app kept changing the address to make it look like we put the wrong address and they were asking for a screenshot, they were trying to make it seem like it’s our fault the order was delivered to the wrong address, unbelievable they are trying to tell us we need to get a ring back but that’s not gonna help since we need to go buy dinner for the kids and they stole our money, they keep asking us to stay on the line, do not use this app, only use this app if you want to waste your money!!!!! They also said they will call back in the next 48 hours which was 2 days after the order
